Commercial Description:
A Non-Alcoholic beverage made the way beers have been made in Germany for centuries. Genuine, pure and natural. Claushaler is brewed according to the law that's as unique as the beverage. The reinheitsgebot, which says that only the purest ingredients must be used - water, yeast, malt and hops - nothing else. Clausthaler, pure and clean with German taste.

Outstanding NA beer. Rich flavour, less hoppy than regular Clausthaler, more grain taste. Very slightly sweet, muted bitterness. Has some body, which is an absolute miracle. My only criticism is that it has a corn taste, which I could do without.

This is an excellent N/A beer.
Pours out to a light, amber in the glass with a fairly, large head. There is alot of carboination present. Many bubbles in this one. The taste is a very, pleasant surprise. The caramel malt taste with a slight sweetness, really adds to the drinkability factory and it doesn't leave a dry mouth like most N/A's. If you've had an O'Doul's Amber, this is similar, but with profoundly more taste. This actually tastes like beer.

Pours with a rather big head, dies down at a reasonable rate.. Leaves alot of lacing.. Smells the part, smells similar to shiner bock but fuller and maybe abit more copperlike... Nice biting crispness, very tasty beverage, and not just because its a N/A ... I fooled a couple of people with this, but it sucks once it warms up..

(I see a lot of low ratings numbers for near-beer. I know its not a good as a beer. I don’t rate wine to beer or tea to coffee either. This is its own entity so these numbers will not reflect my pattern of taste in alcohol beer.)

Crystal clear amber pour with a delicate small foamy head. Light hop aroma. Nice malt flavor comes across with the carbonation. Medium body that finishes with the slightest hop bitterness.

Great for what it is.Once in a while I can almost convince myself it’s not an N/A.It does have some caramel flavor to it,and there are some detectable hops. It’s really an ok beer.If it were a lil cheaper I’d buy it more often.

A sparkling-clear, medium-amber body with a fast, white head and soft effervescence. Small aromas... sweet, candy-like malt over lemons. Bitter start that ends a bit flat. Sun-brewed iced tea with a drop of sugar. Watery overall, but I found it rather refreshing. A very good N/A.

I’m in the midst of a 4-week-long study on eating habits that will net me $250 at completion. One of the requirements for the study is that participants abstain from alcohol throughout the duration. This afternoon, I decided to see if my beer craving could be satisfied with this Clausthaler stuff. I have to say that it largely succeeded. I’ve had real beers that taste worse than this. Also, I have to give the appearance high marks--it pours a crystal clear brownish amber with a nice-looking head that dissipates fairly slowly. The taste is initially malty/grainy followed by a fairly strong (but not unpleasant) bitterness that lingers for a few seconds. There is a slight ’soapy’ quality to the taste but it’s not objectionable. Nicely carbonated. Overall, I have to say this is a good effort for what it is, at least on par with Kaliber from Guiness and also Buckler. I paid $5.99 for a sixer, about what I pay for most of my faves...

12oz bottle. Clear amber color. Very large white head towering on the surface. Light aroma of German Pils hops, somewhat herbal. Slight smell of malts. There is a definite flavor to THIS " Low Alcohol ". Rich caramel malt flavor balanced to a hop bitterness finish. There is a slight corn flavor but overall it is a success. This is a very well rounded beer.
