May 5, 2004 Draft: Deep gold w/ a lasting white head. Fantastic floral hop aroma, maybe too much for a koelsch style, but very pleasant. Malt is low, but has a grainy aroma, and a low level of esters. Malty and well balanced, but has a more than moderate hop flavor in the finish and aftertaste, and fruitiness is very low. Very smooth m/f, creamy, low carbonation and has a medium body. Seems very similar to the Bo. Pils, but not quite as clean and crisp. Very good though.
