Draft @ Capones. Golden amber color with a hint of red. Aroma is a bit sugary with some light hops, apples, tropical fruit. Flavor was very appley and tropical fruity with some interesting sweetness and a strange alcohol aftertaste. A bit odd - not terrible, just seemed like something was a bit strange here. I never know what to make of Climax.

500ml Fliptop that has been in the cellar for a while now. Shared with my girlriend Cyn. Pours dark red with a stable 1 finger tan head. Nose is sweet and fruity. Taste is sweet, with some toffee notes and other characteristics. Also there is a pretty yucky aftertaste. Not bad not great, just there.

On tap at Capones. Pours a mostly translucent amber with golden notes and a small bubbly off white head. Aroma of mixed citrus, pine, caramel, some dark fruit notes and toffee. Flavor of grapefruit, pine, caramel, nuts, toffee, honey, floral notes, earthy and a decent amount of hop flavor.

On draft at Capone’s. Pours a semi clear orange copper with a medium sized white head. Aroma of fruit cocktail and various tropical fruits. Taste of pears and fruit cocktail. kind of on the sweet side.

Draft at Capones. Medium cloudy brown body with thin head. Aroma was faint - malt, light hops and caramel. Flavor was the same with low carbonation and thin mouthfeel.

Tap. Poured amber with no head. Light aroma of caramel. Lots of caramel malt with some hops. Finished rather harsh.

Draft 2006 vintage. Clear amber/orange color withsmall head. No carbonation. Aroma was of light hops and light caramel. Light sweet taste wuth weird tangy hop flavors throughout. Not too good.

On tap. 2006 Vintage. Poured a deeper orangish / amber color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, caramel, and a little earthy. Tastes of citrus, toffee, caramel, oranges, and some dark fruitiness.
