On tap. Poured a medium golden color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of grains and citrus. Tastes of grains, doughy, and citrus. A little honey sweetness in the taste as well. This was drinkable, but I usually don’t overly enjoy Helles as a whole.

Poured a dark golden color with a thin off white cap of a head, with no lacing left on the glass. Aroma of toasted dough, toffee, and citrus fruits. Taste of crispy toasted malt, doughy with citrus, and a clean, slightly sweet finish.

Tap at Barcade: Golden pour with good clarity and a white film for head. Sweet malt aroma with a hint of grass. Body isn’t overly carbonated, which is good. Fairly sweet, pale malt dominated flavor. Not much bitterness to balance. A bit boring.

A clean light bodied lager with a nice cereal malty character. Grainy nose with a small hint of lemon. Light and malty with a soft cottony mouthfeel. Slight tartness demands another sip. A fine session lager firmly in the German tradition. A small nip of hops settles on the sides on the tongue leaving a long lingering aftertaste.
