| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Oct 7, 2007 The body on this Oktoberfest was too thin to propel it beyond just average amid all the dozens of Oktoberfest/Marzens on the market. Clear amber/golden pour with a short beige head. Strong nose of malty sweetness, particularly toffee and caramel and some fruitiness. The flavor is moderately to heavily sweet and lightly bitter. Moderate carbonation. Thin body and watery texture. Finish lingers with a sweetness. mcbackus (751), Merritt Island, Florida, USA

I was at an Irish restaurant in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor and was able to try a few pints of this local brewery. A decent marzen. It was actually a very nice beer for the hot summer day. Fairly bright copper/amber color - came to the table with the head already diminished. Natural, yet moderately malty, but still crisp and clean. A pretty fair balance. A good brew - nothing to write home about. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA
