Crisp, clean flavor of roasted almonds & caramel/toffee. Has a little bit of a spicy flavor-not a lot-just a touch which blends w/the malt in a good way. Just a touch of carbination. Smooth, easy drinking brew-not overly hopped like some. Definitely a sesson beer. Medium crisp finish. themadmumis (344), Westminster, Maryland, USA

I’m ashamed I haven’t invested in it earlier. The women will like it for its sweet taste. Medium to fuller body with general smoothness and some distinction. Very nice. Tart, tangy sting on the nose hairs on the first whif. Drinks crisp and extremely clean, with a nice tangy tingle on the tongue and lips ... delicious amber lager, bright and sparkly. Some lingering bitterness from the hops. omhper (12283), Stockholm, Sweden

Sweet and caramelly with clean, hard mouthfeel. Dominated by crystal malt in sort of a pastisch of the style. There are some nice flavours, but a Märzen needs to be softer to be enjoyable. bubbleflubber (898), Collinsville, Virginia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 8, 2006 Pours copper into the glass, with no small webbed lacing. A few hint of sour grain and spice to the nose, not much else. The flavor is bland caramel malts and spices, the mouthfeel is thin, the finish tries for a slight hop (watered). Very mild and mediocre in most regards. Drinkable, don’t get me wrong, but very mild nonetheless. Sancho (245), Da Bronx, New York, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jul 4, 2006 This was my second Cliper City brew. A friend brought a six pack to the beach. The color was a light amber and the head was a forthy white. The beer was an excellent lager with a medium body but a nice hoppy taste. Compared to others enjoyed on the beach this was a winner.
