| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 5, 2006 Was pleasantly surprised by this one as it beat out my expectations. Poured copper dark color with a head that was decent and well sustaining. The aroma was pretty spicey (nutmeg?) upon pouring and the flavor was good too. Nice caramel malts, a pretty sweet and malty base, with the nutmeg and spicing coming through. Mouthfeel was moderate, but not heavy. A good marzen. jcwattsrugger (5573), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 2, 2006 Medium amber, little head. Gentle aroma, light grass and hay hops apparent. Flavor is very light caramel malts with an easy balance of grass and floral hoppiness. I don’t believe actual honey was used in this beer, but it does have a honey note on the finish. Nice drinker, enjoyable beer. radagast83 (1315), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Apr 1, 2006 Bottle. Not too bad, but frankly nothing special. Malt flavor, with some hops. Sweet flavor, with a small kick of honey. 5000 (2600), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 8, 2006 Bottle: Clear golden, moderate white head, frothy, dies quickly, spotty lacing, mild carbonation. Pale malt nose, slight cereal & graininess. Sweet, kinda buttery & grainy on the tongue. Average body and mouthfeel. Lingering Honey Comb cereal like sweetness, otherwise fairly bland and buttery. The Honey Comb cereal and buttery aspect really detracted on this one.
