| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 16, 2009 bottle. Amber color, small head. Malty aroma, slight amount of spice. A decent beer, very crisp, but there is nothing to make it stand out. I think that am more of a clipper city heavy seas guy.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 14, 2009 This was my first try of their non-heavy seas branded beers and i was not disapointed. The beer was well priced and was very smooth and sessionable. It was not too heavy and had very good malting. Butters (1653), Virginia, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 27, 2009 Pours a very clear pale copper with fair ring of offwhite head. Nose is weak and a bit corny, but not unpleasant. Flavor is a bit doughy, a bit floral, with a caramel, toast, and citrus bite. Medium soft body with fair carbonation. Decent offering for an american take on the style. smcolw (373), Wayland, Massachusetts, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Nov 26, 2009 Light initial head that pulls back to a single layer of bubbles; nearly no lace.
Attractive pale malt aroma with a touch of raw unmalted grain thrown in.
Grainy flavor, almost chewy in the taste. The body doesn’t reflect this, being far more moderate. A little bit of butter and some cream. No significant hop. Sour milk finish and aftertaste.
This has the presence of an ale--it seems "round" to me rather than crisp. Drinkable but bland. FatguyRacer (132), Crownsville, Maryland, USA

I bought a six pack for snicks and grins and have waited until the last one to rate it. Unfortunately for this beer, I stacked it side by side with a Hacker Pschorr Original Oktoberfest. There was only one way this could end. Fair? No, but still, I had a hard time telling this beer apart from a Yeungling. The bottle was pretty cool though. Skyview (4095), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 8, 2009 Received 12-oz bottle via trade with kmweaver. Pours a clear light copper amber brew with a fast dissipating off-white head that leaves behind a thin ring and film top. Aroma of caramel malt, some roasted nuts, toffee, brown sugar, and a touch of sugar. Taste is medium bodied, with very light carbonation with flavors of caramel malt, some dark pitted fruits and some toffee. Finish is semi-sweet, malty with a touch of caramel malt aftertaste and some roasted nuts. fistfull (30), Halethorpe, Maryland, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 3, 2009 A fairly decent example of a Marzen; light in color, easy to drink with a slight malty pleasantness. Not to be contemplated at great length. Still, a decent, drinkable brew! bigguns22 (113), Maryland, USA
