Biscuit, grainy aroma, and low and behold a golden appearance. Average bubbles, this beer does have some "zing". Malt sweetness is present also, all and all its a beer I can drink.

Bottle: Bright golden yellow with a quickly fading, frothy, white head. Head fades to a small ring and a light coating on top of the beer. Light bodied. Aroma is somewhat hoppy with notes of lemon, grass, yeast, grains, and lightly sour malt. Taste is initially spicy & hop dominated with hints of grass, lemon, citrus, light pepper. Then towards the middle there are notes of a sweet syrupy-grain like malt. Finishes with a mild hops bitterness and grainy sweetness. Carbonation is exactly like drinking seltzer water.

The beer decamps the 12-ounce brown bottle a deep amber color with a modest semi-creamy light tan head that erodes leaving a thin concealing sheet of lace. Nose is crisp and clean, sweet malt and quite refreshing, start is sweet and nicely malted with the top medium in its effect on the palate. Finish is moderately acidic and the hops pleasing in their spiciness, a quite dry aftertaste lingers long on the taste buds, a nice drinking beer, and one I see rarely, mores the pity.

Bottle pours a clear orangish golden, small dishwater like head, light carbonation, with spotty lacing.   Molasses, malts, and nuts on the nose.   Toasted malts and nuts on the tongue.   Decent body, but mouthfeel was a bit thin.   Finishes with a good does of malts.   Seems a heavy for a Golden Ale.

On tap. Nice, creamy head on a brilliantly clear golden beer. Nice hop aroma fell a little flat on taste. Clean and crips. Not a bad beer ... but nothing remarkable about it, either.

Poured golden with a nice head. Looked quite nice. Aroma, malt with a touch of hops, flavor was light, too light, some malts and a moderate amount of hops, finish is some hop bitterness but not too much, quite unremarkable really.

This beer was swiped from the fridge of a friend. As such it was free to me so at least I can say that I got my money’s worth out of the experience. It came in a 12 oz bottle with nothing really remarkable about it. It poured a pleasant medium golden color with a nice medium creamy head. I am rather fond of creamy heads on beers so this did raise my hopes some. The aroma was sweet and vaguely grainy. Acceptable but not particularly enjoyable. The flavor was a bit dry, had some recognizable malt elements and was saved by a nice moderate hop presence. In all the hops really rescue this beer from total mediocrity. There is not a great deal of body to this beer, but I was able to drink it without regret.

[bottle] Pours a hazy orange color with a 3/4 inch white head. Heavy malt aroma with some sweetness and a touch of hops. Malty flavor with a sweet backbone and a bitter, malty finish. A little harsh at first, but rather creamy in the mouth.
