Commercial Description:
A bronze medal winner at the Great American Beer Festival in 2000, this ale was the Official Beer of the Baltimore Bicentennial in 1997. Well rounded and complex, with a deep golden color, this is an American style ale with a distinct fruity pallet and floral, spicy hop aromas.

Medium bodied, nice lightly sweet, bready malt backbone with a refreshing floral hop character. Smooth and refreshing, great summer drink.

Clear, filtered, golden body with a small white head. Lightly fruity aroma with caramel, bread and light herbal hops. The flavor is floral, dough and light grapes. Medium/light body is a bit thin especially on the finish with light carbonation.

On tap. Poured a pale copper color that was perfectly clear and had a two-finger tall, thick, white head. Aroma was tame. Some malt and sweetness. The flavor was a nice blend of mild floral hops, malt and some hints of citrus. Nice mouthfeel. Very drinkable.

Cask at RFD. Pours a light amber color with a bubbly head. Some hops in the aroma. Not much to the taste, but some hops, caramel, and malt. Some peppers as well. Interesting beer on cask.

After trying over 300 different beers, this is by far my favorite to drink as a day to day beer. The hint of apple at the end definately gives this slightly hoppy beer some character.

Bottle from Rob’s beer of month ripoff. Pour is light, transparent amber with a thin rain-cloud head. Nose is spicey citrus hops, a little caramel malt, Taste is suprisingly unoffensive. This is an easy drinking smooth beer. Fruits definately noted on the palate. Although this beer is relatively simple, it is much more complex (and enjoyable) than I expected. Underrated in my opinion.

An cute little golden ale with a light note of honesuckle sweetness balanced with gentle floral hops notes and the least bit of mild orange and apricot notes. I still can’t quite get into such a, well, blond brew, but this one is better than your average golden brew.

Clear amber with a medium head. Aroma of spicy hops, pale and caramel malts and yeast. Taste of pears, sweet caramel and a little pepper. Not at all bad.
