A twinge of western hops, moderately sweet, citrus gelatin flavors. Some eggy notes and other off flavors dragged my rating down. Medium bitterness. Medium mouth. Makes some feints at crispness. Yellow APA. Goes biscuity towards the finish. Nothing special, but it’s probably a good gateway beer from macros to better quality stuff. Aroma mostly flowery hops, and a little bready. I was thinking this must be a IPA, or at least an APA. Mouthfeel medium-full, lightly prickly. Nice lacing. Flavor is mostly flowery hops, very light fruitiness and a bit piney in the finish. Bitterness is mild. Pretty good. Veeve (312), Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Nov 25, 2006 pours a dark amber-gold with a full, bubly white head which considerably laces. first thing you notice is that this is extremely well carbonated. lively mouthfeel. smells of sweet malts and whiffs of caramel. tastes of bready yeast, lemon, grapefruit, grassy hops. finishes dry, chalky and slightly ibtter. very pleasant. eaglefan538 (2399), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 5, 2006 A very drinkable beer, this wasn’t that impressive. Comparing my experience with those below, I’m assuming this product varies a bit even in the local market. The pour was amber-orange in color with a thin head that yielded good lacing. The aroma was more like that of a pale ale. The flavor was pretty malty and lightly fruited, but had enough of a pine hop finish to it to keep it honest (although more malty than hoppy). Very easy to drink, but nothing special. Beerdedone (1888), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 4, 2006 This beer is offers a mild aroma of yeast infused with tin. It is a rusty maize colored solution that sits under a decent head that is continuously supplied by a constant flow of carbonation bubbles. This thin beer has decent hoppy taste that fades leaving a mild sweet nut taste lingering. Nejhleader (930), Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA

It does indeed pour golden with reasonable body, a bit of fruit and light sweetness on the mid-palate and a somewhat weak hop finish. An ok session beer.
