| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Feb 27, 2004 Crystal clear, deep golden ale with some floaties. Not enough to haze the beer, but enough to wonder "what the heck are these large floaties doing in my glass... should I wash this thing?
Medium-sized, frothy, off-white head. Good retention and spotty lacework. Good, malty aroma and flavor. Notes of orange blossom honey in the nose and flavor. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Short, incomplete finish. No closure. I need closure, damn it!

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 22, 2005 Pours a clear pale golden with a thin, lightly-lacing white head. Very subtle, lightly hoppy with a touch of crystal malt in the aroma. Body is very mild, drinkable and smooth with good balance, but not much going on flavor-wise. Cletus (5058), Connecticut, USA

Light caramel tastes and some light, peppery spices are present in this light-bodied drink. I like the bitter hop finish... odd for the style, but refreshing just the same.
