Hazed orange bronze color with very little head, mostly some large suds. Aroma is citrus, pine, and some alcohol. First sip was brutal with intense alcohol burn coming on mid palate and lingering retronasally. But after a couple more sips, the booze seems to numb the senses a bit and it’s not so bad. not so good either. Quite thin and without much malt backbone. Light sweet malt character, like crackers with marmalade, and only moderate bitterness. Some apricot and resinous pine notes late. Not something I’d buy again. beernovice39 (304), South Carolina, USA
