Smells like a hefeweizen. Thick reddish brown with no head. Can pick up some of the alcohol too. There is a malt stickiness to it with that hefeweizen wheaty funk (in the taste and smell). Nothing I will write home to mom about. ho hum - just not a preferred style at all. thedm (3836), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 1, 2008 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy fine to medium sized tan colored bubbles that were and left behind a transparent softly carbonated brown colored body. The mild aroma was brown malt and musty. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The yummy flavor contained notes of crisp caramel vinous and brown malt. A decent one that I would consider buying again. Guinness4Duff (507), Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA

Has a rather sweet flavor with a hint of some roasted bitterness. Hides the alcohol presence well. Rather nice and easy to drink. aubreya (676), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA

The flavor on this is very sweet. Hints of fruit, a touch of citrus, and a bit of spice. Alcohol warming in the back of the throat. Not a big fan of this style myself. kevd193213 (497), Hope Valley, Rhode Island, USA

Spicy and estery, sweet but not so much so.. I suppose that I find this has not near the complexity that the German counterpart does, but is still quite enjoyable nonetheless. That it is 10% is more than well hidden.
