12 oz. bottle via trade with jasonmech77 - Pours a hazy light brown color with a half finger thick off white head. Very light spotty lacing. Aroma is full of fruity esters. Flavor is caramel malt and esters. Medium body. The alcohol shows up in the finish. A decent sipper. Thanks Jason.

I’ve always liked the bubblegum/banana flavors of wheat beer. Some may disagree, but I think it goes down easy for a 10% ABV brew. I’ve seen a fair amount if improvement in the past couple of years from this brewer.

Strong malt and alcohol aroma. Very pleasant malt smell. Very sweet smell. If you ask me the alcohol smell is too much. It takes away from the malt and fruit smells that I am trying to pinpoint. A decent smell. The aroma is is a dark orange/red/brown color. An interesting color that is decent as well. The alcohol is just too strong. The beer is malty but the damn alcohol burn is there from start to finish. I have never had a 10% abv beer that burned so friggin much. The beer has a malty and alcohol flavor. There some noticeable fruit flavors, but that alcohol flavor takes it away. The caramel flavor is nice. The beer is somewhat thick and creamy. Decent beer, they just need to find a better way to mask SOME of the alcohol flavor.

pours an orangey copper with a parchment colored head. aroma of esters, a little sour zing, and some alcohol. flavor has some caramel, fruit, esters, and a hint of cloves, malt, and molasses. medium bodied, a little chewy. nice bitter aftertaste that’s not too overwhelming. nice, would try again for sure.

Thin head of fine bubbles. Slightly sour aroma with some tart fruit (raspberry), sweet malts and a bit of caramel. Color is a murky dark mahagony brown. Alcohol kick up front with an oily mouthfeel. Sweet malts and more light tart fruit. Nice alcohol warming. Some caramel and lingering sweetness. Don’t really notice the wheat at all. I actually like this brew quite a bit. Not real hops presence to speak of. Another better than average brew from Clipper City. Actually, as this brew warms the wheat notes become quiter prominent. Very nice. Just upped a point!

Pour a four finger off-white head that fades quickly to a thin layer leaving traces of lace. Cloudy amber color (what else with an unfiltered??). Light carbonation and medium bodied. Yeasty honey nose. Flavor is very different for a wheat - almost like a yeasty barleywine maybe its because the high ABV is right up front, some sweetness, hops in background. Worth trying. $2.20 for a 12oz bottle from Tully’s Beer and Wine Wells, ME.

KSBF07 Poured a light brown with good head. Aroma was of toasted caramel, cloves some banana in there as well. Flavor was all the same with a nice hop bitter finish to it, went back for seconds on this one. Good beer.

Rated while drinking: Pours a dark caramelized amber with virtually no head but lots of sediment at the bottom of the glass. Overwhelming wheat and yeast smell on the nose; very fruity. Pretty stinky. Taste is quite spicy, fruity, and has an almost roasted aftertaste. Pretty complex. Alcohol burn at the esophagus. Feels medium bodied on the tongue and roof of the mouth, nice balance of carbonation, but a bit too sticky on the lips. Tasty beer but the 10% does show itself very quickly.
