Commercial Description:
Just released our newest seasonal – “Holy Sheet”. From the centuries-old tradition of Belgian Abbey monks comes our Uber Abbey Ale (9%). Aromatic and very full bodied, the beer will pour a deep burgundy in color and feature a rich, robust depth of malt character. Grab a line – Holy Sheet! – or you might be swept overboard.

Bottle. Dark auburn-brown body with a creamy eggshell head. Aroma is flowery - dusty fruit and kind of cocoa and cherry sweetness. Warm body with dusty caramel and cocoa flavours along with hints of cherry. Average.

This is part of a beer club. Had only one bottle but was decent for the price. Poured great and had a nice finish. Would do again.

Only a whisp of a head, on mahogony brown. Dark beer aroma and boozy. Surprisingly high alcohol. A decent beverage though only passable Belg. Medium mouthfeel that goes down in a rush. Drying aftertaste.Bee-Aye review 2400.

Draught at Which Brew. Pours a deep red body with nice head. Aroma is an odd yeasty smell, quite musty and almost pungent. Flavor is yeast, hops, and sweet malt with a bit of smokieness to it. An odd dubbel, but surprisingly very drinkable and alcohol not found in the beer.

super disappointed with this one. poured with zero head even with an aggressive pour into a chalice. very little carbonation with a sticky sweet...syrupy flavor. i taste more of the sugar than the malt. i know they can do better. only drank half.

Holy Sheet. Nice name. Pouts a clear and dark brown. Creme head. Nose is candy and slight sugar. Seems one-dimensional. Flavor is super sugar as well. A definite hijacking of the experience. Too much sugar, Slight caramel tone. Not much else going on. Feel is low in carbonation and sticky on the liquid feel. This is one to pass on. Sure there are promising features, but it certainly doesn’t come through.

Bottled. Tangy vinuous aroma. Cough syrupy sweet nose, with cherries and light raisin. Sugary with light fruity hops and light alcohol vapor. Deep red-brown clear, with thin off-white head. Heavy watery body, almost oily, with medium carbonation and light warming to it. Starts sweet, with a lot of sugar and cherries, and carbonic fizz. Has an extract syrup type of taste to it, heavy and sweet. Mild soy sauce-like tang in the finish, with a decent amount of hop bitterness. Overall, it leaves a heavy cherry syrup flavor and mild bitter aftertaste. Kinda cloying, particularly for a dubbel.
