Commercial Description:
Just released our newest seasonal – “Holy Sheet”. From the centuries-old tradition of Belgian Abbey monks comes our Uber Abbey Ale (9%). Aromatic and very full bodied, the beer will pour a deep burgundy in color and feature a rich, robust depth of malt character. Grab a line – Holy Sheet! – or you might be swept overboard.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of markgugs. Clear, warm, amber golden with an off-white head. Sweetish, fruity nose. Full-bodied, some roasted maltiness and fruit - also both notes of dried and overripe fruit. The finish is quite alcoholic without much hoppiness. 311007

12 fl oz bottle. Pours clear hazzlenut brown with a diminished off-white head. Nutty and fruity aroma, slight metallic. Sweet malty with a note of chocolate and a liqourice edge in the finish. Ends with a slight woody note and a minor bitterness and with a sharpness from the fruits.

Bright reddish-brown. Plummy aroma with sour cherries, chocolate. Fruity and sweet, some bubblegum, light spice. Some orange. Some nice nuances but too sweet.

(12oz bottle, best by August 2007) Small beige head atop clear copper body. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, some alcohol/rum, apple, light candi sugar, mold. Taste is moderately sweet, rum raisin, some alcohol, spice, light prune, apple, candi sugar. Medium body that seems thin for the size of the beer and its flavors.
