Pours a medium, frothy white head and a sediment-filled, highly carbonated orange body. Very malted, some leafy hops. Tabacco, grain cereal, amber malt. An odd double IPA. Seems like its light on alcohol, but high on malt. Good. 7/3/6/3/13 milljam (569), Norman, Oklahoma, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 30, 2009 Nice IPA.....the blend of hops works really well. Aroma is fresh...with some hints of pine and citrus. Flavor is bitter, but still easy to drink, with notes of grapefruit, pine and resin. Sweet malt undertones provide good balance. fdr137 (32), , New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 26, 2009 12 oz bottle. Poured an orangy amber w/ a slight haze, but almost no foam. Aroma is hoppy, piney, with some citrus. Flavor is a lot of hops upfront, bitterness, with a slight touch of maltiness that keeps sweeter and in check. Not enough too it for me. Pours a clear, golden amber with a thin, off-white head. Nose is of citrus and pine hops. Taste is also of citrus and pine. Some caramel malt balances it out. Mouthfeel is medium, crispy clean and nice bitter finish. Pleasantly surprised by this. ironp55fe (19), dayton, Ohio, USA
