Pours a peachy pink tan color, murky. Fluffy white head. Citrus hop aroma, grapefruit and tangerines. Chalky thick flavor, grapefruit and hops. Taste dies quickly. jeff789 (359), Pennsylvania, USA Dec 29, 2008 Pours a clean pale copper with a thin tan head... Aroma is quite resiny with a huge amount of piney hops... Taste of piney/earthy/woodsy hops with a bit of a sweet malt backing... Medium bodied, with a slightly thin finished... Rynoplasty (500), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Dec 29, 2008 Pours hazy light amber with a small whitish head. Aroma is sweet citrusy hop. Taste is nice citrusy sprucey hops balanced with slightly sweet malt. Pretty good. willblake (2160), Belcamp, Maryland, USA Dec 27, 2008 20081227 12oz bottle, Spirits RB. Light amber color with tall white head that lasts and laces. Aroma is mostly hoppy with citrus blossom perfume, mild alcohol, light spruce/resin, light cat pee. Light bodied but sticky with a bitter hops smack. Biscuit and lightly grainy malts up front give way to mostly resin and catty hops on the finish. Not quite dry or astringent. Decent, quaffable IPA. ElDuderino (136), Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, USA Dec 24, 2008 On tap at The Publick House in Brookline. The body is a murky light orange and a frothy thick pure white head has a lot of staying power. The smell is full of citrus peels and grapefruit. Very straight forward. The flavor is bitter and piney with lot of sticky sap and citrus notes. The bitter hops really over power the palate, in a good way, and seem to brighten up as the beer warms. This is my idea of a perfect session beer. JaBier (1130), Capital City, Ohio, USA Dec 21, 2008 12oz bottle at the Crosswoods Winking Lizard. Clear orange amber color with a quickly dissipating head. Nice aroma with lots of hop and a good malt balance. Malty flavor followed by hop, but kind of a weak finish. Decent overall. pinkzambia (986), Boise, Idaho, USA Dec 21, 2008 Bottle: Cloudy gold with an off-white ring head. Dry hop and grapefruit rind aroma. Not too complex, but a nice bitter flavor. Overall, a solid IPA that could be drank on a regular basis. luttonm (275), Belgrade, Serbia Dec 21, 2008 12oz bottle in florida. Well done, hoppy sweet and malts. Very copper pour that lends to a musty rich hop nose. Flavor is concentrated and sticky-sweet. A bit musty, orange-citrus and resinous citrus-hop. Tasty and is on the high end of an IPA ... flavor is approaching a dipa but the body isnt there. Not a sessionable beer for me.
