Pours a slightly hazy copper-orange and gives a off-white thick head that thins out a bit, leaves moderate lacing on the glass, bouquet of floral, grapefruit citrus, grassy and piney hops, aroma of sweet malt arrives thereafter, flavors of malt sweetness with a tad of fruit, some toasted malt, a good amount of pine hop bitterness throughout the drink and ends pretty dry with some residual bitterness with a touch of dry herbs on the palate, touch of alcohol is felt on the palate, has a nice mouth feel, this IPA has big hops on the nose and pretty much an even malt and hop IPA with the hop bite given the edge in the mouth, a good IPA, I recommend it, if you love hops you will not be disappointed.

bottle poured a golden amber color with an off white two finger head that had pretty good retention. aroma hits off with tons of citrus pine hops, lemon and orange peel, bit of hop bitterness, underlying sweetness, and malts. clearly this is a hop centered brew. mouth feel is medium and there is enough carbonation to keep it lively. flavor has a yummy hop cocktail, citrus galore, juicy sweetness, moving to bittering hops, and some peppery spice. clearly the malt is just to keep this together as it just cant keep up with the hops level. really enjoyed this one as it has several contrasting hop varieties.

Pours a nice clear golden orange with an off white head, good lacing. Aroma is floral piney hops with honey also. Flavor is sweet malt and honey balanced by lots of hop bitterness in the finish. There is also an interesting spiciness to this beer. Very well-balanced IPA - has the sweet/bitter balance of a DIPA without all the alcohol, which is impressive.

This brewery just keeps impressing me. Their beers tend to move toward the sweet side but for the most part they are well made and well balanced. This beer poured an amber color with a nice creamy off white head. The lacing followed me down the mug as I drank on. It had a spicy hop aroma with a slight sweetness that came through. On the palate it was smooth and pleasing. The hop character was strong but was balanced by a sweet honey like taste. It really wasn’t bitter for a hopped out IPA either - not that bitter is bad.

12 oz bottle - Pours a light amber color that’s fairly clear, with a medium sized creamy off white head. ARoma is full of pungent, oily, resiny citrusy hops, smells like some simcoe and amarillo, along with subtle spicey hops and just a touch of honey-scented malt. Flavor has a notable backbone of slightly chewy malts, along with a fair amount of herbal hops, touch of honey, with a smooth, mildly bitter finish. Definitely good. Much more of an east coast style IPA - bit darker in color, bit maltier, not quite as bitter as the west coast IPAs, but one of the best of this style I’ve had in a while.

Aroma is full of hops and pine. It’s appearance is the classic orange, with a nice white head. It’s flavor is extremely well balanced. Very nice combination of aggressive, but balanced hops. Smooth as IPA gets, awesome!

If you like hoppy beer than this is the beer for you! Definitely a good IPA without that overwhelming grapefruit bite. Sampled at Florida Beer Fest.
