Cloudy but deep golden. Not overwhelmingly bitter taste. It’s rich and thick. CaptAnkeny (14), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

HOP 3 [cubed]! This is the closest I’ve tasted perfection. And it’s not a Portland brew. It’s now what I seek out when visiting the Land Of Pleasant Living, Baltimore, MD.
So good, I had to take the tour.
HOPPY, Fruity, Tasty, kicky, ranks right up there with the Best each year at the Oregon Brewers Fest. Highly recommended to any IPA’er. pintsize (1042), Austin, Texas, USA

Red orange copper with nice head. Very floral bitter dry smell. Sharp rind bitterness in the flavor. Mouthfeel is pretty smooth and is enjoyable. Drinkable. dlovell2 (140), Columbia, Maryland, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 27, 2008 12 oz bottle given to me by a friend that I converted to craft beer. Pours a great looking orange with a large pillowy creamy head, real impressive. Aroma is tons of hops, piney resin, grapefruit rind, and smoothed out with some grainy malts. Medium to full bodied with a strong dose of carbonation, creamy mouthfeel and a slightly bitter finish. Flavor of fresh hops, caramel, floral hops, bitter citrus and slight grain. Really well done IPA, bordering on IIPA territory. This beer is called Loose Cannon but after drinking a few of these I am finding that my pants are no longer that loose, damn irony. The aroma is nicely fruity hopped with a light caramel sweetness and notes of oranges and other orange citrus fruits. The flavour also has a lot of fruity hops with notes of citrus, papaya, mango, oranges and a light, but nice caramel. It’s really nice! sinkr (212), Lusby, Maryland, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 24, 2008 Bettle->tulip: Pours an off-white, large head that exhibits spare lacing atop of a murky, light brown body. The aroma of malt is average, hops are floral, and the yeast is musty. The body is medium, the texture is oily, and the beer finishes astringently. The flavor’s duration is average the acidity and bitterness are moderate.
Not a bad IPA, but I wish it were more hoppy and bitter--while very drinkable--I’d opt for a more true-to-form IPA if given the opportunity. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA

Pours a light medium amber color with a smallish offwhite head. Smell is fruity, floral hops and some metallic notes at 1st which eventually fade. Taste is mild at first with sweet, fruity malt, and hops. Somewhat mildly bittered, I thought. Pretty decent overall.
