Apr 9, 2008 Shaker from a bottle. Poured a nice orange color with a thin, white head. Has a nice hoppy and grapefruit (citrus) smell. Had a light body, thin texture, lively carbonation, and a lasting citrus finish. Again, the beer had a hoppy and grapefruit taste. Overall, I was very impressed with this beer. The grapefruit style citrus flavor was very impressive and it is easy to tell the hoppiness of the beer. Highly recommended.

Apr 9, 2008 Updated: Sep 12, 2008Pours a dirty orange color with slight carbonation and a moderate sized head that does taper away somewhat quickly. Floral, citrus hoppy aroma that is not crazy powerful but you know it’s there. Hops dominate the flavor and while they are slightly bitter, they are more citrusy sweet with a touch of honey thrown in there. A very good beer that isn’t far from being a great one.

Apr 4, 2008 This beer was amazing. I had the good fortune of trying it the first time straight from the cask. The aroma and flavor are straight hops, it’s like holding a handful of hops right up to your nose and taking a deep breath. It’s thick but not to hearty. You won’t need a nap after one of them. This is one of the best beers I’ve had in a long time.

Apr 2, 2008 beautiful lacing. a head to be jealous of, almost reminds you of a meringue pie! nice hoppy refreshness that lingers, but doesnt overwhelm the palate. nice copper color with a hint of marigold. flowery taste with a pleasant hint of grapefruit, not over powering though. label is a unique, eye pleasing marketing tool. i had it on draft in north ridgeville ohio, in a place i didnt expect to see it. when i saw it i got excited to know it was so popular. i just cant believe the head and lacing, none ive ever seen. phenomemal !!!!!!!!&#

Apr 2, 2008 Where do you start with the Hop3??? It’s an amazing combo of aroma and flavor. The 7.25% ABV is barely noticable... and the taste... oh wow! Thankfully I am able to drink this practically everyday, It has certainly ruined me for several other competing beers. Once you go Hop3 you will never go back!

Mar 31, 2008 Pours a clear light amber with a thin white head. Smell is citrus and pine hops. Taste is of woody/piney hops. Clean finish. A good beer but I tend to like the more citrusy IPAs.

Mar 31, 2008 Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. Aroma of hops and other plant/floral scents. Nice slightly fruity initial taste, but then there’s a plant like flavor in the middle that lasts through the lightly bitter hop finish.

Mar 31, 2008 12oz bottle. Not a huge IPA guy but this bitty really impressed me. Pours copper with a small head. Nice and spicey IPA that goes has strong floral astrigent notes but yet has a rich fruit suggestions as well. Unbelievably balanced and has lots of complexity. My favorite IPA. Cant wait to get another one.
