chaychie (3), North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA does not count Apr 2, 2008 beautiful lacing. a head to be jealous of, almost reminds you of a meringue pie! nice hoppy refreshness that lingers, but doesnt overwhelm the palate. nice copper color with a hint of marigold. flowery taste with a pleasant hint of grapefruit, not over powering though. label is a unique, eye pleasing marketing tool. i had it on draft in north ridgeville ohio, in a place i didnt expect to see it. when i saw it i got excited to know it was so popular. i just cant believe the head and lacing, none ive ever seen. phenomemal !!!!!!!!!! Ubermunch (23), Maryland, USA Apr 2, 2008 Where do you start with the Hop3??? It’s an amazing combo of aroma and flavor. The 7.25% ABV is barely noticable... and the taste... oh wow! Thankfully I am able to drink this practically everyday, It has certainly ruined me for several other competing beers. Once you go Hop3 you will never go back! Vas19 (293), Maryland, USA Mar 31, 2008 Pours a clear light amber with a thin white head. Smell is citrus and pine hops. Taste is of woody/piney hops. Clean finish. A good beer but I tend to like the more citrusy IPAs. DocHop (278), Baltimore, Maryland, USA Mar 31, 2008 Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. Aroma of hops and other plant/floral scents. Nice slightly fruity initial taste, but then there’s a plant like flavor in the middle that lasts through the lightly bitter hop finish. Pwn3d (1036), Manhattan, New York, USA Mar 31, 2008 12oz bottle. Not a huge IPA guy but this bitty really impressed me. Pours copper with a small head. Nice and spicey IPA that goes has strong floral astrigent notes but yet has a rich fruit suggestions as well. Unbelievably balanced and has lots of complexity. My favorite IPA. Cant wait to get another one. Cybercat (778), Georgia, USA Mar 30, 2008 Pours a dark orange-amber with a thick, fine-bubbled head. Aroma is very hoppy, almost piny, promising an exceptionally hoppy beer. Flavor delivers what the aroma promises - exceptionally hoppy, with an undertone like the scent of a pine tree. Texture is smooth and pleasant, and aftertaste has just a little hop bitterness in it. Recommended to all hop lovers. porter4porter (32), Florida, USA Mar 29, 2008 Pours a nice copper w/ thin head, spicy aroma w/ primary floral hops scent, nice lacing, intensely hopped but pretty malty for an IPA, the commercial description is accurate w/ nice balance of spice, citrus, and floral hops, finishes w/ primarily floral hops flavor - personally, i wish it was a bit more citrus/crisp with its finish, a good IPA hophead420 (4), columbus, Ohio, USA does not count Mar 26, 2008 got this one at andersons general store in columbus, oh. pours a nice one finger head decent lacing. the aroma is of floral hops. perfect brew for this hop head tons of hops. i can and do drink this one every day! good job clipper city for making the best american ipa!
