pik5el (51), Pasadena, Maryland, USA Mar 10, 2008 I really like this beer. Great amber color with a creamy head that laces the glass fairly nicely. All kinds of fruits and estery qualities in the nose. The taste is just what I would have expected from the nose, and it goes down very smoothly. hophead75 (1945), Boonton, New Jersey, USA Mar 10, 2008 12 oz bottle from Crown Liquors. Lightly hazy light amber/orange in color with a medium off white head. Aroma: bright citrus and flowers up front- with some light pale malt and biscuity malts in the background. Taste is light sweet with alot of citrus, flowers, light resin, with a moderate pale malt sweetness in the background. Hop character is moderately assertive, and this is very well balanced overall. Finishes with a smooth bitterness and lingering light pine resin. A pretty solid IPA. bma4573 (136), Mechanicsville, Maryland, USA Mar 7, 2008 Pours an amber reddish color, with a citrusy hop aroma. Nice fruity hop flavor, nice representation of the style. Good IPA Indra (2023), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA Mar 4, 2008 12oz. bottle. Appealingly fresh, aromatic nose, juicy and citric with notes of pineapple, grapefruit, lemon, spruce, floral sweetness and hints of spice. Hazy medium golden-amber color with a lasting, finely creamy head and thin sheets of lace. Flavor is certainly dominated by the complex hop profile, but manages to stay in balance due to a sweetly malty, honeyish, toasty backbone, while the hops show an intense level of citrus fruit, pine, flowers and peppery spice. Smooth and wet on the palate with a resinous feel and a full body. Very nicely integrated and tasty. TheEpeeist (1429), Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 3, 2008 12 oz bottle. Clear amber with a whitish head. Nose is pine, lemon and cat pee. Medium light with crisp, juicy carb. Taste is orange peel, apple and caramel. Finishes bitter and slightly metallic. Unique69crazy (119), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Mar 2, 2008 Very well done!! I love this brew!! Just the right amount of hops with a heightened flow that just can’t be beat. Distinctive and eager is what I would describe this brew with. Pours great and auburn brown, little carbonation, but it still doesn’t taste at all flat because of the way it was brewed. Fantastic flavor, if you’re a hophead, try this!! You will NOT be disappointed! dkachur (2318), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Mar 1, 2008 Bottle from WFM Charlottesville. Good God is that a strong hop aroma. Also some sweetness in the aroma. Faint sweetness in the taste juxtaposed with a straightforward but not overpowering hop profile. RCL (1443), Waltham, Massachusetts, USA Mar 1, 2008 Super creamy head on top of a nice golden amber. Very flowery hops. Great balance, ultra drinkable; this is really good.
