The hops were resinous and a bit spicy. The beer arrived clear amber golden with a strong white head which stood tall and never dropped while it laced the glass. The flavor was once again strongly fruity with pineapple esters and a citrusy and grassy spicy hop flavor. The citrus was notably grapefruit and some caramel was thrown in for good measure. The finish was dry and fruity with lasting citrus long into the aftertaste. The body was medium-full with a moderate level of carbonation and a substantial warming from alcohol post consumption. A pretty tasty pint! Pint at Churchill’s in Savannah. vadavid (131), Fredericksburg, Virginia, USA

Pleasant aroma of citrus hops. Bold pine and citrus hops flavor. There’s a slight bitterness on the aftertaste. The mouth feel is slightly sticky. This is very enjoyable, easy to drink libation; be forewarned on the 7.5% ABV. raiderfost (158), virginia beach, Virginia, USA

Big hop flavor spicy and citrus, intense but still allows for some sweet fruity malts to make an appearance kevd193213 (486), Hope Valley, Rhode Island, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 30, 2007 Fruity citrus aroma. Flavor is mildly bitter, somewhat fruity, and surprisingly sweet. Almost like hard candy. Which is what really hurts the score for me. I like it, but it’s no Two Hearted Ale. Hell even Mad Anthony might be as good as this. Sorry Phil, it’s just okay. cheapdark (2015), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Dec 27, 2007 Aroma of spruce or pine. Ubiquitous pale yellow american lager appearance. Taste is heavy medicianl hops, but less of a preservative feel than most IPA. Feels like I’m chewing on green grapefruit rinds. Decent mild carbonation. Bitter lingering finish, good example of this rotten style. Somebody bought this for me, I normally would not buy an IPA myself.
