stands out b/c of the intense hopping. i prefer this over some other ipas because i prefer a dominant hop taste and very little malt. this ipa does just that and turns out to be one of my favorites.

bottle - Pours clear copper with a thin head. There’s lots of citrus hops in the aroma and it’s very nice. There’s also a good, intense citrus hops dominated flavor backed by some pretty well balanced caramel malt. This medium bodied beer ends in a long, pleasantly bitter finish. Very fine IPA.

Beautiful golden color with small white head and fair lacing. Aroma of bananas, pineapple and huge amounts of piney and floral hops. The taste almost mirrors the aroma on this. This is the second time I’ve had this and it’s better now than it was then. Thanks to cmr1517 for leaving the bottles at my house. Sorry man I couldn’t resist.

On tap at Union Street Public House-Alexandria VA. Poured dark copper with a foamy thick head. Very strong hop nose. Bitter hop taste with just enough balance to drink. Not as balanced or smooth as the 2 Hearted Bells but very nice nonetheless. Well done.

Great IPA one of my favorites. Definitely more hoppy than malty but a nice balance between the two.

In my opinion, this is a more hop-heavy brew than Stone Ruination IPA. It lacks some of the balance of the latter, but makes up for it with a monstrous bouquet of flowers and grapefruit. In the mouth, the grapefruit is so dominant, that I may just stop drinking grapefruit for breakfast and become an AM Ale drinker. Impressive if overstated. But then again, a triple IPA is not about subtlety. Too good (not)to share.

Bottle purchased at Corral Liquors in Granite City, IL. Pours a sparkling amber with a rocky, off-white head that laces fairly well. An interesting nose: herbal, floral and citrus hops with a light caramel malt backing. It’s been a while since I’ve had an IPA that didn’t punch me with a distinct pine or grapefruit aroma up front. Medium-bodied and slick with a nice bitter finish, the flavor is citrus, flowers, earthy herbs, pepper and caramel malts backing up the show. A nice blend of flavors and a tight bitter finish. A refreshingly different and mouthwatering IPA that demands you take another sip.

Golden straw pour with a medium white head. grassy hoppy aroma. light malt in the background. This is hop forward and dominant. Body is adequate. very bitter.
