| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 19, 2007 bottle - Pours clear copper with a thin head. There’s lots of citrus hops in the aroma and it’s very nice. There’s also a good, intense citrus hops dominated flavor backed by some pretty well balanced caramel malt. This medium bodied beer ends in a long, pleasantly bitter finish. Very fine IPA. bdigital (586), Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jul 19, 2007 Beautiful golden color with small white head and fair lacing. Aroma of bananas, pineapple and huge amounts of piney and floral hops. The taste almost mirrors the aroma on this. This is the second time I’ve had this and it’s better now than it was then. Thanks to cmr1517 for leaving the bottles at my house. Sorry man I couldn’t resist. bleeng (595), Spring near Beersel, Texas, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 18, 2007 On tap at Union Street Public House-Alexandria VA. Poured dark copper with a foamy thick head. Very strong hop nose. Bitter hop taste with just enough balance to drink. Not as balanced or smooth as the 2 Hearted Bells but very nice nonetheless. Well done. damienv10 (108), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 17, 2007 Great IPA one of my favorites. Definitely more hoppy than malty but a nice balance between the two. Slepkov (18), Ithaca, Alabama, USA
| 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Jul 16, 2007 In my opinion, this is a more hop-heavy brew than Stone Ruination IPA. It lacks some of the balance of the latter, but makes up for it with a monstrous bouquet of flowers and grapefruit. In the mouth, the grapefruit is so dominant, that I may just stop drinking grapefruit for breakfast and become an AM Ale drinker. Impressive if overstated. But then again, a triple IPA is not about subtlety. Too good (not)to share. Gregis (1132), Shawnee, Kansas, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 15, 2007 Bottle purchased at Corral Liquors in Granite City, IL. Pours a sparkling amber with a rocky, off-white head that laces fairly well. An interesting nose: herbal, floral and citrus hops with a light caramel malt backing. It’s been a while since I’ve had an IPA that didn’t punch me with a distinct pine or grapefruit aroma up front. Medium-bodied and slick with a nice bitter finish, the flavor is citrus, flowers, earthy herbs, pepper and caramel malts backing up the show. A nice blend of flavors and a tight bitter finish. A refreshingly different and mouthwatering IPA that demands you take another sip. rdelljh (121), Pennsylvania, USA
