Jul 3, 2007 12 oz.bottle: Pours a clear copper color with a medium frothy off-white head that is mostly lasting leaving nice lacing. Floral aroma brings out some hints of grapefruit and spices. Well balanced hops in the citrusy, spicy flavor that finishes with a mild bitterness. Easy drinking and a nice surprise! Refreshing!

Jun 24, 2007 This is a pretty amazing beer. I’ve had it on tap and in bottles and it’s always delivered for anyone liking a hoppy, crispy IPA.

A very delicious IPA, lots of bitter hops with a great floral aroma. The aroma is fresh hops, almost piney, some citrus. The white head dissipated quickly into a fine layer, not much lacing. The mouth feel is lighter than you’d expect, probably due to the carbination. This beer goes down smooth considering the ABV and hoppy-ness. The alcohol is well hidden. Overall a very refreshing crisp beer, a pleasant experience.

Jun 19, 2007 Bottle courtesy of HogTownHarry. Orange-copper colour with a medium white head. Aroma of grapefruit and resin, mmmmm, hops! Big flavour, lots o’ hops with some brown sugar malt to balance. Not much to add, it’s just a solid, sessionable (despite the strength) IPA.

Jun 7, 2007 Appearance: Pours a clear light gold body with a small, frothy white head.
Smell: Scads of grapefruit in the aroma together with orange marmalade and homemade sugar cookies.
Taste: Laden with crisp hop flavors of orange peel and grapefruit and backed up by a sweet malt base. Light, bitter finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Slightly fizzy carbonation.
Drinkability: A refreshing IPA (I wouldn’t consider this a Double-IPA) teeming with fruitiness. Fairy tasty and well-balanced.

Jun 4, 2007 Bottle. 12 fl. oz. Sep. ’07 label notch. An orange beer with small, off-white head. Hoppy, grapefruit aroma. Medium bodied with an oily texture and a fairly short finish. Sweet flavor all the way until the very end where you finally get some of the bitterness. I bought a six-pack and enjoyed every one.
