buerckholtz (33), asheville, North Carolina, USA May 14, 2007 Pours briliantly clear with a smalish off white head, aromas of hops and some bready malt, also noteworthy to say there is an off aroma of DMS (like a cooked can corn smell) usually results from a hot fermentation, not a good thing but its in there. Flavor is solid with english malt, slightly sweet lke a dogfish 90 minute but not as alcoholic. Hop presents in more of the flavor and aroma than the bitterness, this is not a bitter beer by any means, but it has a nice hop profile though. I was plesantly suprised at this beer over all. k4df4l (154), DTown, Pennsylvania, USA May 10, 2007 Tap @ Capone’s. Coppery with an off-white/creme rocky head. Hoppy citrus aroma with faint traces of malts. Spicy and rather citrusy flavor with an underlying malty note. Ragged bitter finish. jason (1620), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA May 9, 2007 Updated: Sep 5, 2007Draught at Capone’s. Poured hazy golden amber body with thin head. Citrusy/hoppy aroma. Flavor was sweet, hoppy with a citrus bite. Heavily carbonated and a little rough around the edges. Overall a good beer. DirtyMartini (194), Los Angeles, Alabama, USA May 8, 2007 pours gold with a fluffy white head that lasts quite a while....leaving behind lacing rivaling many belgians. no doubt a big surprise. definitely a floral hop aroma with a slight bit of spiciness and citrus mixed in. flavor was much of the same, with the spiciness coming out more. medium bodied...i imagine this would be better fresh...though im sampling it when it wa best bought by...may 07 fishingnet (1045), Brandon, Florida, USA May 7, 2007 Bottle. Pours a clear light copper with a small off-white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of floral, spicy, and citrus hops with a nice sweet malt background and notes of light fruit. Taste is same as aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a solid but less than expected hop bitterness. A very good IPA with tons of hop flavor and aroma. jonwayne4883 (401), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA May 5, 2007 a fine IPA, lots of citrus fruit and floral hop aroma, then lots of malt and citrus hops in the falvor. not too thin, it is a solid beer with a lot to offer. Emil (6075), Copenhagen, Denmark May 4, 2007 Bottle. Golden colour with a white head. Malty, peach, pine, hop aroma and a sweet malty, peach, pine, hop taste. Medium body with a sweet dry finish. redlight (1445), Winter Park, Florida, USA May 3, 2007 Great hop aroma, citrus, pine and resin, spicy. Rich golden blonde color with a thin white head. Great hop flavor that doesn’t linger heavily. Citrusy, spicey, Piney and resiney, it reminds me of a mild 90 Minute. Not a bad beer, 2nd favorite so far from this brewery.
