Aroma: Muted malt sugars and some spicy hops. Taste: A rather malty IPA. Not very hop heavy compared to the recipe. An ok brew, nothing to brag about. fromred2green (144), , Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 17, 2009 Bottle. Pours a cloudy golden color with a small white head. Aroma is mostly hops and citrus. Flavor is mostly grapefruit in my opinion, with some hops and malt in the mix toward the end. Not a particularly bitter IPA, nor does it have much of an aftertaste. In my opinion, this beer offers something unique to the style. rugbydude05 (285), Kew Gardens, New York, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 14, 2009 12 oz bottle, pours a hazy golden color with little head. Aroma is sweet and a little spicy. Some malt character noted, some hops. Flavor is sweet, no bitterness, but very one dimensional. Palate is smooth but no body whatsoever to this one. Not as good as i was expecting. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 13, 2009 Average beer. Hops are there, just understated in the east coast fashion. I’m very interested in trying the Euro Lager these guys make, but first started with the IPA. I believe it’s time to overdo another style. Alcohol is slightly present at the 7% rate, but not how I would like. beerbill (1939), Laurel, New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 13, 2009 12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with AtlAggie. Pours a slightly hazed gold with a large off-white head that lasted through mid-glass and laced the glass well. Pleasant aroma of grapefruit and pine. The flavor begins with a decent dose of malt, which is then washed over by grapefruit pith and bitter pine. While the bitterness from the hops is fairly strong, the flavor is weak. Bitter finish that thankfully does not linger. Probably not an IPA I’d look to revisit. darkguardian (506), Florida, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 8, 2009 A great double ipa. Draft over in Naples. Pours a mostly clear reddish light brown. Long lasting light beige head with tons of lacing. Nose is huge grapefruit and tangerine with some spicy notes. Flavor is excellent for a regular IPA. Strong malt backbone but quite bitter. Great flavor hops with alot of citrus and pine. Not overly resiny. This is one of the better IPAs out there. DJMonarch (6630), Northwich, Cheshire, England

Very fruity hop aroma. Golden coloured and very hoppy with a citrus flavour. Crisp and bitter lasting finish.
