This rating had to have been lost when the site got hacked a few months back. Anyways, I picked up a sixer for my 4th of July outing tonight, so here goes. Firstly, my sixpack carrier notes the abv. at 7.0, not 7.25. Anyways, Pours a great clear copper with a tall lasting cream colored head. Aroma is all citrus (lemon and grapefruit) and resinous hops with a bit of a sticky malt backbone to balance it out. Very nice. Flavor is the same but with a bit more malt presence and a definite (but not overwhelming by any means) alcohol presence. Medium bodied with low carbonation. Overall: a beer just as beautiful as I remembered it. Good work CC! 1more4dessert (231), Upstate, New York, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jul 3, 2009 clear bright gold with a tight knot fizzy head
decent lacing, nose is more on the cut grass, spicey herbal side. Light bodied for the abv and taste, not sweet at all. Very sessionable - in terms of comparisons (sorry my lack of eloquence leads me to this literary device too often) the Smuttynose IPA comes to mind. hopheadfett (50), Oak Ridge, New Jersey, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 21, 2009 Pours a nice orange, slight cloudiness. Nose of flowers, citrus, and hops. Taste is right in my comfort zone for IPA’s, sweet, but bitter, very present hop notes, finish is citrusy, lasting bitterness. Overall impressed with this IPA, definitely will enjoy again. Nice execution, balanced, and flavorful. joeyplush (333), Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 20, 2009 On tap at Shellhammers in Newark, DE. Nice orange color slightly cloudy but the head was a bit weak. Strong aroma of citrus hops. Flavor is also nicely hopped, grapefruit bitterness and a nice lingering finish. I think this one earned a spot in the regular IPA rotation. JonnyC22 (164), Huntsville, Alabama, USA

Very sweet, but you can definitely tell it’s a strong, yet mellow, beer. beerbeliever (1), providence, Rhode Island, USA does not count | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 8, 2009 After living abroad in Denmark for 5 months my taste of beer drastically changed. I returned to the US with a new love for beers with a little extra to it. I came accrose Loose Cannon while at summer school and have never turned back. The IPA remains packed with flavor and smooth for a +7ABV. My favorite IPA by far. vinerd (17), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | May 23, 2009 Bottle pours out a amber topped with a off white cream head. A very nice hop on the nose. Tasted of sweet hops with a touch of bitterness. Rustyham (556), miami, Florida, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 9, 2009 The best part is the smell- hops with some strawberry maybe. Taste is a little like a belgian witbier- a little spiciness and yeastiness. Kind of lite, tho- more smell than flavor.
