JonnyC22 (162), Huntsville, Alabama, USA Jun 16, 2009 I had never even heard of this before today; I saw the "Hop3" and knew it would be good. Very sweet, but you can definitely tell it’s a strong, yet mellow, beer. beerbeliever (1), providence, Rhode Island, USA does not count Jun 8, 2009 After living abroad in Denmark for 5 months my taste of beer drastically changed. I returned to the US with a new love for beers with a little extra to it. I came accrose Loose Cannon while at summer school and have never turned back. The IPA remains packed with flavor and smooth for a +7ABV. My favorite IPA by far. vinerd (17), Orlando, Florida, USA May 23, 2009 Bottle pours out a amber topped with a off white cream head. A very nice hop on the nose. Tasted of sweet hops with a touch of bitterness. Rustyham (545), miami, Florida, USA May 9, 2009 The best part is the smell- hops with some strawberry maybe. Taste is a little like a belgian witbier- a little spiciness and yeastiness. Kind of lite, tho- more smell than flavor. tarheels86 (700), Washington DC, USA May 3, 2009 On tap at Raleigh World Beer Fest. Pours a lighter, clear amber with a small, beige head. Nose is citrus hops, caramel malt, grapefruit. Taste is citrus hops with tangerine and mango. Some bready malt in the body. Citrusy, bitter finish. Yum. bb (2905), Martinez, California, USA May 2, 2009 Bottle. Slightly hazy rich amber beer with a light tan head. Light grapefruit and light caramel aroma. Caramel and grapefruit flavor with light summer fruits. Medium bodied. Lower bitterness for an IPA. Caramel lingers with grapefruit and light pine. JohnnyJ (1282), Carlsbad, California, USA Apr 30, 2009 Thanks to jrob21 for the bottle! Golden amber pour, white head. Citrus, grapefruit, caramel, hints of bread, flowers, and some spice. It’s okay, but not outstanding. Jsawyer (282), Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 28, 2009 Bottle. Poured sunburst amber, close to ruby up top, with a thick cream head. Aroma was both spicy and citric hops, fruity almost like grape, bready, pine, and a little grapefruit. Pine, bready, raisinish, citrus, slight lemony spice. Palate true to the style. Really good.
