From firkin, unfiltered and extra dry hopped at Capital Ale House - Downtown on 06/03/2009. Cloudy orange body with a large rocky off-white head. Very sweet floral and citrus hop aroma. Big citrus and floral hop flavor. Medium body with moderate carbonation. 7/3/8/4/16 - 3.8 11/24/2005: Orange pour with a creamy white head. Strong grapefruit aroma and taste. The grapefruit taste leads to the majority of the hoppiness. 6/4/8/3/14 - 3.5

[339-20070613] 12floz (c/o HogTownHarry, jerc). Citrus orange hops aroma has hints of floral. Hazy, orange amber body with a medium-lasting small white head. Tastes mostly like chewing on an orange peel with very light hints of bandaid. Medium body. Pretty nice hoppy beverage.

Thanks to Hogtown Harry for the massive amount of this we consumer on Poker night a few weeks back. Orange pour, decent white head. Lots of citrus and malt in aroma. Same for taste, on the bitter side for sure, with grapefruit like hops dominating. What a great session IPA, was surprised to see the alcohol at over 7%!

Appearance: Pours a clear light gold body with a small, frothy white head. Smell: Scads of grapefruit in the aroma together with orange marmalade and homemade sugar cookies. Taste: Laden with crisp hop flavors of orange peel and grapefruit and backed up by a sweet malt base. Light, bitter finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Slightly fizzy carbonation. Drinkability: A refreshing IPA (I wouldn’t consider this a Double-IPA) teeming with fruitiness. Fairy tasty and well-balanced.

Bottle: Courtesy of Bucknaked via trade. Big aroma of apricot, pineapple and grapefruit hops. Pours a bright transparent orange with a small white ring around the edges of the glass. Sugary pineapple up front with a big grapefruit hop finish. Well balanced.

#900 This was on my want list for a little bit of time... fortunately Matt was willing to share this. The beer pours to a glowing golden/orange body with a nice white head and a nice spotty lacing. The aroma is very hoppy. Citrus, peaches, perfume, light caramel malt. Awesome. The flavor is hoppy but not bitter at all. The must have used a ton of caramel malt to balance out the hops. The palate is not bitter at all. Medium-light silky body. Delightful. Nice beer for #900.

Wonderfully aromatic hops at first. Fruity with notes of grapefruit and pineapple. Bitter resin and carbonic gaseousness come next, and a light metallic bite. Has a bit of sweet maltiness to it, too. Dark golden clear with thick foamy off-white lacing head. Medium bodied with medium carbonation, easy drinking and no carbonic burn. Starts with some acidity and medium malt sweetness. Quickly, the hops take over and impart a fruity yet stark bitterness that precludes all else. Resin and grapefruit finish with dry and bitter after. Hoppy and good, just a bit watery.

12oz. Bottle thanks to eaglefan538. Good grapefruit aroma stood out in this one. Copper body with off white head. Flavor was a good dose of citrus hop and cool and crisp on the palate. Enjoyable brew.
