There’s lots of citrus hops in the aroma and it’s very nice. There’s also a good, intense citrus hops dominated flavor backed by some pretty well balanced caramel malt. This medium bodied beer ends in a long, pleasantly bitter finish. Very fine IPA. Indra (2030), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 4, 2008 12oz. bottle. Appealingly fresh, aromatic nose, juicy and citric with notes of pineapple, grapefruit, lemon, spruce, floral sweetness and hints of spice. Hazy medium golden-amber color with a lasting, finely creamy head and thin sheets of lace. Flavor is certainly dominated by the complex hop profile, but manages to stay in balance due to a sweetly malty, honeyish, toasty backbone, while the hops show an intense level of citrus fruit, pine, flowers and peppery spice. Smooth and wet on the palate with a resinous feel and a full body. Very nicely integrated and tasty. dirtymike (2018), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA

| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Dec 27, 2007 Aroma of spruce or pine. Ubiquitous pale yellow american lager appearance. Taste is heavy medicianl hops, but less of a preservative feel than most IPA. Feels like I’m chewing on green grapefruit rinds. Decent mild carbonation. Bitter lingering finish, good example of this rotten style. Somebody bought this for me, I normally would not buy an IPA myself. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA

Pours a light medium amber color with a smallish offwhite head. Smell is fruity, floral hops and some metallic notes at 1st which eventually fade. Taste is mild at first with sweet, fruity malt, and hops. Somewhat mildly bittered, I thought. Pretty decent overall. FROTHINGSLOSH (2010), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer pours a bronze color with a small white head that fades quickly. The aroma begins with a sour tang and quickly moves into strong grapefruit and fruit cocktail notes. The flavor is intensely strong grapefruity hops with a sugary sweet undertone. Probably the strongest and deepest grapefruity flavors I have ever encountered in a beer. decaturstevo (1997), decatur, Tennessee, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 27, 2006 A hazy orange pour with a decent off white head that goes pretty quick but a little of the lacing hangs around for a while. If you like a hop aroma bury your face in this baby and breath deep. I could taste them through my sinus cavity. A flavor of orange peels, barely a hint of malt, and hops in the flavor. Smooth easy palate that is just a tiny bit weak at the end. A good good beer I wish I could get here. cbkschubert (1989), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA
