The aroma is nicely fruity hopped with a light caramel sweetness and notes of oranges and other orange citrus fruits. The flavour also has a lot of fruity hops with notes of citrus, papaya, mango, oranges and a light, but nice caramel. It’s really nice! Emil (6074), Copenhagen, Denmark

Poured a deep amber color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of flowers, light oranges and some caramel. Tastes of citrus, grapefruit, flowers and caramel. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 25, 2005 Diminishing off-white head covers the hazy orange hue. Highly aromatic nose boasting full-on lemon and even moreso herbal/grassy hops that overtake the grainy, bready well contained honeyed maltiness. Light-medium bodied, big bubbled carbonation. Even for an IPA, this remains highly attenuated, yet managing to heave cerealic and hayish malts among those bitter hops. Mineral, dry and well made. jcwattsrugger (5550), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 26, 2005 Clear deep golden color with a well-lacing wispy white head. Aroma is of resiny piney grassy hops and some musk. Starts with a fuller palate and good fresh piney hoppy presence. An enjoyable, crips IPA, but could use a little more sweetness for balance and to really be considered a double IPA.
