Loose Cannon Hop3 Ale is a triple hopped IPA containing over 3 pounds of hops per barrel. Not for the faint of palate, it has an intensely floral, spicy, and citrusy hop aroma and flavor. Available year round

Bottled. Pours out a clear bronze colour with a small, foamy, off-white head. Nice hop aroma with a hint of alcohol oddly enough. Clean scent if that makes any sense. Flavour definitely has the hops up front but then also some bubble gum and sweetness in the finish. Proabably an above average IPA overall.

Beer pours attractive apricot color with a totally retained off quite colored head. Aroma is pungentely citric hops, primarily grapefruit. Also a bit of fresh juice aroma though not as much as some. Flavor is initially sharply bitter, nicely so, the finish is also spicy bitter, not overy dry with just a touch of sweetness. This really is a nice IPA though stetching the limits of IPA dom with its 7.5% ABV. Alcohol is totally hidden, btw. Very enjoyable.

I think this one is a bit overrated. Flavor and aroma are very bitter and not balanced at all, but not in the good "hop bomb" way.

Clear copper appearance with a medium size head and good lacing. Quite a range of hoppy aromas with pine, citrus and spices showing up at different intervals. Balance seems an appropriate description, with an impressive array of malts to match the equally impressive mix of hops. Nonetheless, the taste leans to the hoppier end of the scale, notably in the dry, bitter, slightly peppery, slightly metallic finish. The dry hopped, cask conditioned version is a real treat. An extremely drinkable beer that has become my favorite all occasion brew.

Holy smokes, if you don’t like hops don’t get this one. Very hop forward with tastes of apple and pear. Finishes rather quickly. Very carbonated and a decent beer.

Very pleasant surprise. I saw this in a bottle shop aligned with a bbq place. No one was in the bbq place and the guy behind the register grumbled his way through the sale. I had no idea what Clipper City was, but gave it a try. Very hoppy. But like the self-described note says, there is also a floral taste here too. Not bad at all.

12oz - best before 8/06 - Aroma of fresh floral hops and citrus zing. Pours transparent orange-brown with medium head and great lacing. Flavor is very hoppy with some malt showing up to mellow it out. Palate is crisp and tart. A nicely balanced hoppy IPA that is on the shelves in Indiana.

Translucent orange color, frothy white head. Aroma is like lemon grass with a dash of pepper. Flavor is moderately sweet and very slightly bitter. Finish has a balance to it that is hard to accomplish with all the hops found in it. Well made IPA
