12oz bottle. Pours clear orange with a good size white head, good lace. Smells nice, citrus hoppy with a semi-sweet caramel malt presence, slightly metallic as well. Tastes nice and light citrus hoppy, slightly sweet, slightly bitter. Good malt presence as well, again slightly metallic. Medium body, good carbonation.

There is a strong grapefruit aroma and taste to Loose Cannon. The head is white and the color is brownish oarnge. The hop prescence clearly dominates and provides a mouthful for the palate.

From a bottle poured dark amber with a good amount of head. Nice hoppy flavor with a lasting finish.

12 OZ Bottle via trade with Decaturstevo (thanks!). Pours a clear light amber color with a large white head. Aroma is a straight forward grapefruit and nothing else (maybe a little pine). Taste starts out a nice caramel maltiness, then some grapefruit and orange, and finishes with a strong maltiness. Not overly sweet per say, but the malts definately win the battle, 60/40 i would say. Medium bodied and well carbonated. This seems more like an Amber Ale than an IPA, but whatever, it is a very drinkable beer. Very refreshing.*****hehe, just read the description above..Triple hopped? They are joking right? This is mellow for a normal IPA, let alone a TRIPLE IPA?? Hmmm...anyway it is a good beer. I give it a 4 for a good beer, a 3 for an ipa, so will split the difference and call it a 3.6

Hands down the best beer I have ever had from clipper city. Pours out a nice coppery color with a medium white head. Aroma is a bit hoppy, citrusy, and very floral. Flavor really shocked me. Very intense hops. Had I not known better, i would have thought this was an IIPA. Outstanding job. I love little surpises like this. I expected this to be just another so so brew from clipper, but its a nice suprise.

Can’t believe I’ve never rated this. Just picked up a fresh 6’r so here goes: Pours out a nice light amber color with a small white head. Aroma is of some citrus hops, grains, and a slight sweet fruitiness. Taste is well balanced, citrus and floral hops, some bready/grainy notes and some fruity sweetness lingering around in there also. Solid IPA and a good session.

12 oz. bottle from Matt @ RB. Pours a clear amber color with a medium off white head with good lacing. The aroma is sweet citrus (grapefruit mainly) with some pine and a good amount of malts. The flavor is a pleasing combination of citrus and light pine hops with caramel malts. Medium bodied and easy to drink. This is probably my favorite Clipper City beer.

picked this 12 oz. bottle up on the reccomendation of Joe, the beer manager at Corral Liquors in Granite City, IL last Sunday. pours a coppery amber with a decent head. good smooth IPA for a hot summer day. interesting blend of hops makes for a crisp, clean brew. well done.
