12 OZ Bottle via trade with Decaturstevo (thanks!). Pours a clear light amber color with a large white head. Aroma is a straight forward grapefruit and nothing else (maybe a little pine). Taste starts out a nice caramel maltiness, then some grapefruit and orange, and finishes with a strong maltiness. Not overly sweet per say, but the malts definately win the battle, 60/40 i would say. Medium bodied and well carbonated. This seems more like an Amber Ale than an IPA, but whatever, it is a very drinkable beer. Very refreshing.*****hehe, just read the description above..Triple hopped? They are joking right? This is mellow for a normal IPA, let alone a TRIPLE IPA?? Hmmm...anyway it is a good beer. I give it a 4 for a good beer, a 3 for an ipa, so will split the difference and call it a 3.6

Hands down the best beer I have ever had from clipper city. Pours out a nice coppery color with a medium white head. Aroma is a bit hoppy, citrusy, and very floral. Flavor really shocked me. Very intense hops. Had I not known better, i would have thought this was an IIPA. Outstanding job. I love little surpises like this. I expected this to be just another so so brew from clipper, but its a nice suprise.

NICE IPA FLAVOR. BITTER AND STRONG. LOW MALT PROFILE. SLIGHT STRAW AFTERTASTE WITH A CLEAN FINISH. OK MOUTHFEEL. A STRAIGHT AT YOU WEST COAST TYPE IPA. A BIT ONE DIMENSIONAL.

Bottle thanks to Mwelsh13: Pours a clear copper light amber body with off-white head and nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, pine, grapefruit, some caramel and a bit metallic. Flavor is medium sweet, pine, some grapefruit and caramel. Light-medium body, creamy texture. Short bitter finish.

Pours very clear orange despite some jostling on its journey home to my place--so it’s definitely not bottle conditioned. The head is initially small and fizzles to a ring w/in a minute of pouring. Hop profile in the nose is nice, lots very heavy on the citrus and floral notes w/o any sort of rough edges. Also very smooth drinking. Indeed, it is very hoppy w/ a goodly amount of bittering but it’s not overly aggressive. I might pin this as an APA if I didn’t know the ABV of it. In addition to the same floral/citrus character in the nose some earthy, piny and spicy notes come out in the finish. Palate is decent enough but I’m wishing for a bit of sticky sweetness to play off the hops or more effervescence to add some spunk. Can’t say it’s not a good beer though.

Bottle from beer tasting. This was the favorite of the night. It appeared yellow in color, with a nose of complex fruit sweetness: Valencia orange, lemon, and bubble gum, I’ll say. Flavor features candied ginger, lemonade, peach and some back-palate spiciness. Finishes hoppy with spicy qualities. This is a great tasting IPA.

Draft. Pours a light straw gold with a pillowy white head. Aroma is hoppy and sweet. Flavor is loaded with citrus and piney hops, balanced by doughy malts. Alcohol is barely evident. Finishes dry and bitter. Nice IPA.
