This one started very malty with the standard grapefruit/pine aroma. Nice balance to it coming from the malt, and never guessed the booze factor. Liked it and I enjoy IPA’s. bigrond (1055), factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma of floral, spicy, and citrus hops with a nice sweet malt background and notes of light fruit. Taste is same as aroma. Medium mouthfeel with a solid but less than expected hop bitterness. A very good IPA with tons of hop flavor and aroma. MrBendo (1044), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 24, 2007 Rated 10/15/06: Well done by Clipper City, this is a thoroughly enjoyable IPA. Hoppy aroma of pine and grapefruit not as powerful as it should be compared to the flavor. Great pour rich deep copper color, a swirl of the yeast on the bottom makes it denser. Huge puffy head and sticky sweet lacing, one of the best looking IPA’s I’ve poured. Easy on the palate this is extremely drinkable and the finish is clean with an aftertaste that quickly fades. Well hopped flavor, medium malt presence that is well balanced for this style. Similar to the other great IPA’s I’ve had, but this one is easier going down yet powerful with a well masked alcohol content. Very good drink.
