Aroma was of strong grapefruits, and a little sweetness. Flavor was grapefruits and pine hops. Had some sweetness in the finish. Little thin but very good. pintsize (1042), Austin, Texas, USA

Red orange copper with nice head. Very floral bitter dry smell. Sharp rind bitterness in the flavor. Mouthfeel is pretty smooth and is enjoyable. Drinkable. cking (1041), North Canton, Ohio, USA

Hoppy aroma of pine and grapefruit not as powerful as it should be compared to the flavor. Great pour rich deep copper color, a swirl of the yeast on the bottom makes it denser. Huge puffy head and sticky sweet lacing, one of the best looking IPA’s I’ve poured. Easy on the palate this is extremely drinkable and the finish is clean with an aftertaste that quickly fades. Well hopped flavor, medium malt presence that is well balanced for this style. Similar to the other great IPA’s I’ve had, but this one is easier going down yet powerful with a well masked alcohol content. Very good drink. brentfeesh (1040), Gadsden, Alabama, USA

Nice grassy-spicy hoppy aroma. That’s it, that’s the dominant aroma…hops! Spicy, hoppy taste too (surprise). VERY light malt in the background. Spicy alcohol greats you at the finish. This is hop forward and dominant. Body is adequate. Not bad, but very bitter.
It is possible that I rated the wrong beer in this catagory before. I’ve had this a couple of times since this old rating and I just don’t understand it (a bad bottle perhaps). I increased points on the aroma as I thought you could smell the delicious grapefruit and oragne aroma across the room. Notes on the taste included a solid malt presence with caramel and roasted grain/buscuit. Ruby red grapefruit hops frits followed by passion fruit and orange. 2 more points there. And up on for the palate. All and all, something I enjoy. roder60 (1034), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma is sweet and fruity, almost like a watermellon jolly rancher. Flavor is light, yet bitter and floral. Overall, not a bad brew, extremely light for a double ipa. Aroma is of orange and other citrus flavor with some hops, pine, and floral hops. Flavor strong with floral hops and citrus. Finishes slight bitter but I was expecting more then what I got. An ok IPA but definately not the best. estoppel (1028), Buffalo, New York, USA
