The pour was a palish copper color with an off-white, semi sticky head that produced pretty good lacing. The aroma was tart citrus, light pine and some softer floral, herbal aromas. Some sweet malt snuck in too. The flavor was in your face with the citrus and floral flavors with the malt not quite able to keep pace. Pretty easy drinking with a tight, dry finish. A good IPA.

Pours a amber gold with a crème head. Nose is hoppy, but not so powerful like a super hopped up brew. The hops are there, as are a citrus tone and what seems like a sugary chewing gum. Flavor is hoppy with an orange citrus flavor. Feel is thicker and sticky. Drinkable, yes. It is a decent brew. But I think it is another that has jumped on the bandwagon of the super-hopped beers. After a while you can only take so much. When a beer is just made with a load of hops and it has no other great character that holds it apart from the rest, what is the point? Good. But lacking.

Pours a nice clean orangy body with a seafoam-like off-white head. Very nice hop aroma with essence of oranges and pineapple. The flavor closly matched the nose with some grapefruit in the finish. I also taste Belgian yeast in the finish. Very likely to become my session beer du jour. Great stuff!

(Bottle). Big citrusy aroma, mostly grapefruit. Orange-amber color, white head. Flavor a delcious balance of grapefruit, orange, pineapple, and some semi-sweet malt backbone. The finish is a little disappointing....slightly bitter, but not very intense.

I picked this up at Norm’s Beer & Wine in Vienna during a recent visit to the Washington, DC area. This beer pours a slightly hazy dark yellow with a scummy head of mixed large and tiny bubbles which clung aggressively to the sides of my pint glass. Aroma is hoppy sweetness backed with a bit of stale cerealness, but still good. Mouthfeel hits before flavor, and it is fairly thick and syrupy. Flavor is good; it is pretty much all hops (which I heartily approve of, especially for an IPA!) and is a bit sweet and balanced with some piney-ness. While the mouthfeel is a bit thick and slick, this beer still feels rather dry. Definitely recommended.
