i think i remember the IIPA, Winter Storm, as a brew that i liked more, but whatev’ ... / a really nice and fruity nose with a bit of malt pushing it up. the flavor is nice. it looks good, and feels good, also. fruity, chewy, a bit syrupy, yet smooth and round; not earthy, not too hoppy, just balanced well, and with a good punch, and with a nice and full, sweet, aftertaste... a good beer! (and i can’t taste that it’s such a strong brew!)

Pine, Pine, Pine!!! Pours orange-amber/caramel into the glass, with heavy spiderlace. Lots of floral and pine notes to the nose. Pine resin flavors, with a slightly citrusy grapefruit contingency. The finish is malty-sweet, with LOTS of pine effervescence, almost indicative of an IIPA. The mouthfeel is not as heavy, though, with a nice floral pine cleansing palate. This is truly a great IPA.

Cracking open the bottle and a blast of hops erupts from within. Poured into the glass and this bronzen brew is covered with a bone-white small head that dissipates quickly but leaves interesting lacing. Intense hop aroma with a little bit of sweetness beneath. The hops add much to the flavor without being so overly bitter that they purge your tongue of taste buds. A refreshing IIPA.

(Draft) First impression is that this beer is very much like celebration ale minus the intense up front hop bitterness. Loose Cannon is hoppy, but the hops are accented on flavoring and aroma. Very fruity. Looking forward to trying the bottled product.

Rating #200. Pours copper with a thin white head that leaves within seconds. Aroma is hoppy with some citrus background (suprising!). Flavor of floral hops, pine needles, grapefruits, and orange peel. Finishes with a long lasting but not overpowering bitterness. Good.

Bottle: Pours a nice color, somewhat small head. Very nice flavor.....hoppy, yet somewhat sweet. Good Stuff. Reminds me of Ballast Point Big Eye. I could drink this all day.

Nose of heavy pine & citrus, some yeast & spice, flowers. Pours a sparkling orange copper. The decent cascade resolves into a tight off-white head that is mostly lasting & leaves good lace. The flavor is burnt & bitter with a comfortable level of acidity. The full body is dry & soft. The finish feels astringent. Right up my alley.

Bottle. Heavy malt aromas of roasted and caramel, moderate hops of perfume and lemon, light soap and meat for the yeast and hints of wood, toffee and vanilla. Head is average size, rocky, slightly off-white has good lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is almost clear yet sparkling amber/copper. Flavor starts moderately sweet and lightly acidic, then finishes moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Palate is medium, creamy and has a soft carbonation. It finishes with a saccharine like sweetness and feel. This is a very unique IPA. I liked it a lot but the artificial sweet taste threw it off a bit.
