bottle. pours light copper with a creamy white head. nose of peach, pine, and some citrus. well balanced flavor with a good deal of peach and citrus present. smooth and creamy on the palate, it goes down way too fast.finishes quite clean. a very nice IPA that actually has some balance for once.

This is a true IPA...pours to a hazy golden orange, with off-white head and okay lacing. Aroma is very strong hops, mostly grapefruit citrus and floral, with a hint of grass. Flavor is much along the same lines, strong and very tasty citrus-floaral hops. The dry, bitter palate was expected, and did not disappoint. All and all, a damn good beer in my favorite style.

12oz bottle. Pours golden orange with white head. Aroma is strong with hops, citrus, sweet malt and a little booze. Flavor is big with hops, citrus, sweet frutis, candied sugar and malt. Mouthfeel is a little syrupy. A good IPA but a little to sweet for my palate.

Another excellent beer by Clipper City. This is a very, very hoppy beer that tastes like a good IPA times two. Very little to describe it apart from the excellent flavour of hops. As always, Clipper City makes the high alcohol content subtle and hard to notice, but reawrding at the end. I like this beer so much that after buying the first bottle, I cam back and purchased four more.

Bottle thanks to franksnbeans. Pours a clear golden-copper color with a moderate off-white head that faded to a soapy head and left nice lacing. Nice aroma of spicy hops, with some green and citrus coming out of the aroma. Flavor follows the aroma quite closely, it opens with some semi-sweet citrus is a lot of floral, spicy undertones and then a decent bittering hop hit. Not too bitter, and it doesn’t linger too long on the palate. Pretty nice beer, I like the spice/citrus balance, but it could be a bit more bitter. Thanks Beans.

[Bottle] Pours hazy reddish-amber with a small white head. Not as big in aroma as I had expected, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in quality. Lots of tropical fruit--huge on pineapple and a little mango in there as well. After warming a bit some citrus and light honey show up too. Very subdued bitterness in the taste, decent sweetness with a solid malt backbone and some citrus. Not as good as the aroma, but not bad. Decent mouthfeel, quite smooth, and has an average length finish. Very nice, especially the aroma...then again I am a sucker for the huge tropical fruit aromas.

Cask at Chelsea Pier, NYC. Pour is slightly hazy orange, white head. The aroma is grapefruit, other light fruits, caramel, candy sugar. The flavor is like the aroma, with grapefruit and other fruits, and sweet caramel malts. The finish is rsiny hops. Medium mouthfeel Very good overall.

Pours a dark orange-amber with a thick, fine-bubbled head. Aroma is very hoppy, almost piny, promising an exceptionally hoppy beer. Flavor delivers what the aroma promises - exceptionally hoppy, with an undertone like the scent of a pine tree. Texture is smooth and pleasant, and aftertaste has just a little hop bitterness in it. Recommended to all hop lovers.
