Loose Cannon Hop3 Ale is a triple hopped IPA containing over 3 pounds of hops per barrel. Not for the faint of palate, it has an intensely floral, spicy, and citrusy hop aroma and flavor. Available year round

Nice orange pour with a pretty long lasting fluffy head, even from the bottle. Very strong hop aroma... but not overpowering like other strong IPA’s... mostly grapefruit and some orange. Very fruity, citrusy hoppy taste... the malt is there just to hold it together I think, not really a strong factor. Slightly sticky, bitter finish. Pretty darn drinkable, and well made. I like it a lot.

draft at Summits. excellent IPA. definitely the best offering from Clipper City that I’ve had. Huge hop presence on the nose - spicy, floral hop profile that explodes through your nose. citrus on the tip of the tongue... medium to full body....wonderful long bitter finish. all around a really solid IPA - one of the best imo.

draught: Aroma is of sweet citrus, amber colored, flavor is full of citrus reminicent of simcoe hopping, but its not according to the label. Not really bitter, piney, or resiney, just lots of citrus and malt. I truly enjoyed it

12 oz. bottle recieved in trade from Daknole- thanks! Served in shaker- poured a transparent light copper color, low carbonation, thin white ring around the glass for a head. Aroima of light citrus and pine (hops), along with a shade of caramel. Hits the mouth with medium body, malt has been slightly sweetened, hops come in the middle, finish has a cloying effect with the hops as an underlying force. Interesting and good brew.

Delivers the hop punch as advertised. Big floral fruity aroma, hops through and through. Spicy, nearly spritzy between the medium carbonation and spiciness. Well balanced and good mingling of hop varierties. Big flavors but finishes fairly clean. good.

355 mL bottle. (bb Nov ’08). Crystal clear orange with a small head that quickly fades to a film. The combination of hops results in an aroma that pretty much runs the gamut of hop scents: pine, tangerine, grapefruit, floral and pineapple. Same goes for the flavour. The malt fades into the background, but lends enough backbone to make this a very drinkable beer. It’s actually not as bitter as I expected it would be. Pretty good stuff.

Extremely hoppy, both in aroma and flavor. There is also a slightly sweet aftertase which I like. Nice coppery-orange color, too.

On Firkin pours a golden color with a large marshmellow like head. Smells like a pine tree. Mouthfeel is smooth and medium. Tastes like a beautifully malted and citrus union. Good brew.
