Loose Cannon Hop3 Ale is a triple hopped IPA containing over 3 pounds of hops per barrel. Not for the faint of palate, it has an intensely floral, spicy, and citrusy hop aroma and flavor. Available year round

Bottle (12oz). Shared with blankboy, my bottle, via trade with Fyrecrakker05. Poured clear gold with a large lasting foamy-fizzy beige head. Aroma is very restrained, I get mild treefruit, dry UK (and centennial?) floral hops, with quite a bit of yeast and spicy funk arising as it warms ... this intrigues me. Taste is very dry and very bitter - the finish and aftertaste linger a long time, very grapefruit pithy - but there is still an apricot/pear light fruit and yeast character behind it - the malt is there as a vehicle, but stays in the background - nice and funky, an interesting take on the big-hopped IPA. Mouthfeel is dry, astringent, fairly still, average at best body - really enjoyed this, thanks very very much, Fyrecrakker!

12 oz bottle. Pours a super clear light gold, small white head. Citrusy hop nose, some sweet yeast and light floral notes. Flavor is yellow grapefruit, nicely hopped without being overbearingly hopped. Nice east coast style IPA!

12oz. bottle. Pours a red-twinged golden with a beautiful soapy head with lovely lacing developing over the course of consumption. The nose connotes orange blossom and ambrosia. The mouthfeel is unctuous with pronounced notes of grapefruit without being overly bitter. Near perfect balance, this beer is quite nice. Glad it’ll be available year round. Serious competition for some of the established IPA favorites.

bottle - Pours clear copper with a thin head. There’s lots of citrus hops in the aroma and it’s very nice. There’s also a good, intense citrus hops dominated flavor backed by some pretty well balanced caramel malt. This medium bodied beer ends in a long, pleasantly bitter finish. Very fine IPA.

Bottle from cbkschubert. Thanks! nose of hops, hops, and citrus! amber with a small white head, flavor is pleasantly hoppy with some decent bitterness, but not overly so.

Poures a nice golden color with a small head. Had a nice aroma of citrus and hops as well as some pine lurking in the background. The taste was classic IPA. Had some tasty grapefruit and floral notes along with an enjoyable matliness to it. Finished with a nice hop bitter end. A very nice IPA

Appearance: Pours a clear light gold body with a small, frothy white head. Smell: Scads of grapefruit in the aroma together with orange marmalade and homemade sugar cookies. Taste: Laden with crisp hop flavors of orange peel and grapefruit and backed up by a sweet malt base. Light, bitter finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Slightly fizzy carbonation. Drinkability: A refreshing IPA (I wouldn’t consider this a Double-IPA) teeming with fruitiness. Fairy tasty and well-balanced.

draught: Aroma is of sweet citrus, amber colored, flavor is full of citrus reminicent of simcoe hopping, but its not according to the label. Not really bitter, piney, or resiney, just lots of citrus and malt. I truly enjoyed it
