Oct 7, 2007 This really is an exceptionally clean, crisp IPA, with a very clean after taste. Only for real hop lovers, though.
Had this originally at the Buffalo Brewfest in 2007.

May 19, 2008 12 oz bottle. Nice orange color with solid off white head that lasts. WOW! The nose on this thing is huge! Very citrusy nose with hints of peach and pine. funny...the comment about it being sweet at first and then melon and topical fruit is dead on. Great balance. The malt backbone is enough to support the huge hop bitterness. very drinkable.

Mar 15, 2009 tremendously shockingly good! not expecting slams on all points, but it pours a beauty, evokes a nose of mystery and hop fortitude...taste is out of this world, thick, rich mouthfeel...i even think i rated this too low.....HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Dec 7, 2005 Updated: Dec 6, 2006Clear orange color with visible carbonation and a thin white head. Aroma is awesome. It’s sweet like candy and fruit. Flavor is malty sweet and wonderful. Not as extreamly bitter as I expected. Very different and very delicious. 10/4/7/4/18
RERATE: Dark orange pour with a nice cream lace. Aroma is fantastic fresh grapefruit. Flavor is fresh delicious grapefruit and resiny hops. This is just what I remember. This has finally appeared here in Rochester and I need more.

Nov 11, 2007 Thin frothy head which dissipates quickly. Light carbonation. Nice succulent hops aroma. Loads of mandarin oranges (YUMMY!), pineapple, a hint of pine and a nic caramel malts backbone. Slightly hazy bright orange. Wow, nice smooth flavor. Medium bodied. Bit of malts for body and a nice hops balance. More citrus and a bit of spicy hops late swallow. Very easy drinking. LIngering hoppy bitterness at the finish. A great, balanced IPA and one that could become a staple brew at my home.

Feb 17, 2007 This be a fantastic, flavorful brew. The hops are exceedingly citrus-fruitiness. Great compliment to pizza (fruit, root, and fungus, of course) dishes which consist primarily of starch and cheese. For an extra-decadent experience, forgo the beer glass and drink this effing fabulous beer straight from the bottle. You’ll be glad you did.

Mar 16, 2008 This was a great brew. I think it was the best of Clipper City brews. Hoppy, but it had a nice fruity aroma. The various hops really mix together well. Still had a little bit a sweet element. Wonderful brew.
