Pours a lovely bronze body and a tall ivory head. A SUPER floral nose to this beer! Ahhh… The wonderful aroma of a dank sack of hops that are about to be tossed in the kettle for dry-hopping. Super fresh and abundant hops! The flavor has a nice backbone of sweet caramel with a hint of brown sugar, followed by a grapefruit zestyness and super dry, spicy pine resin finish. -An especially well done brew and sitting on the cusp of being imperial!!

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 17, 2007 Pours a clear, amber color with a nice white head. Initial aroma is very floral, backed by a clean citrus presence. Smooth body gives way to a crisp hop character with enough malt to be balanced. Wasn’t expecting much, but the beer proves to be a great value. screigh (262), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 22, 2007 Pours a deep orangey copper color. Fluffy white head that disappeared and left no lacing. Very pleasing hop aroma. Taste is mostly hop flavor with just the slightest hint of malt in there. Finish is minimal hop bitterness. While I do think this beer is out of balance I like it and find it quite drinakable. JPDIPSO (4926), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jan 3, 2006 Dark golden color with a tall lasting light cream colored head. Huge hops aromas with citrus and pine, along with a touch of sweet sour kraut and resin. Perhaps too may hops can create really funky nose. Perfumy hops flavors start at the tip of the tongue and fade slowly across the palate. A very light malt middle and rather dry finish. Almost comes across a touch watery as it does not have much malt depth to back up the hops. A hopshead type brew. argo0 (6969), Washington DC, USA

Aroma is medium sweet, pine, grapefruit, some caramel, metallic. Taste is medium sweet, pine, some grapefruit, caramel. Light-medium body that is surprisingly light for the ABV. jsquire (2113), St. Marys, Ohio, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 3, 2006 Golden color beer with a thin off-white head and a huge, sharp nose of fresh pine needles, grapefruit and oregano. This beer is all about the hops. Intense grapefruit, pine needle and orange rind hoppiness. Very hoppy beer. Toffee malt sweetness tries to underpin the hops, but just can’t quite do it. Body seems a little thinner than it could be. This is a hop head beer, and enjoyable if you are in the mood for the hops. aracauna (2391), Georgia, USA

Pours a clear amber with a beautiful grapefruit and apricot nose from the hops. The flavor is thinner than expected but very drinkable. This makes great apa, but you wouldn’t guess it was supposed to be an IIPA. At least the actual product here is a really good beer as opposed to that lousy "imperial stout" they make. raymow (738), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA
