Draft pint at Hard Times Cafe. One of my favorite IPAs. Orange and amber color with very little head, but great lacing. Citrus aroma, enough said. One sniff and you will agree. Deep grapefruit aroma. Taste matches the aroma, but does not strip every taste bud from your tongue. Nice sweetness that compliments the bitterness. A good example of an east coast IPA. Leaves me wanting more.

Shaker from a bottle. Poured a nice orange color with a thin, white head. Has a nice hoppy and grapefruit (citrus) smell. Had a light body, thin texture, lively carbonation, and a lasting citrus finish. Again, the beer had a hoppy and grapefruit taste. Overall, I was very impressed with this beer. The grapefruit style citrus flavor was very impressive and it is easy to tell the hoppiness of the beer. Highly recommended.

beautiful lacing. a head to be jealous of, almost reminds you of a meringue pie! nice hoppy refreshness that lingers, but doesnt overwhelm the palate. nice copper color with a hint of marigold. flowery taste with a pleasant hint of grapefruit, not over powering though. label is a unique, eye pleasing marketing tool. i had it on draft in north ridgeville ohio, in a place i didnt expect to see it. when i saw it i got excited to know it was so popular. i just cant believe the head and lacing, none ive ever seen. phenomemal !!!!!!!!&#

Frothy off white average head. Little malt aroma, masked by heavy citrus/orange/spruce flavored hop smell. Initial flavor of pineapple and grapefruit juice followed by a mildly bitter yet smooth finish. Slight oily texture on palate. Solid amount of citrus hops masks alcohol content well. Good beer.

The amount of hops is apparent right from the start. Big head, nice lacing and hops from start to finish with a hint of alcohol. The body is a bit thin, but I’ll take it as opposed to sweetness.

Beer pours attractive apricot color with a totally retained off quite colored head. Aroma is pungentely citric hops, primarily grapefruit. Also a bit of fresh juice aroma though not as much as some. Flavor is initially sharply bitter, nicely so, the finish is also spicy bitter, not overy dry with just a touch of sweetness. This really is a nice IPA though stetching the limits of IPA dom with its 7.5% ABV. Alcohol is totally hidden, btw. Very enjoyable.

Slightly hazy golden-amber colour. Massive, bright lychee and mango hop aroma with syrupy malts underneath. Well-balanced. The hops are strong, peachy, fruity, with a bit of mandarin. The malts are grain-crunchingly fresh pale and take the edge off the hop bitterness in beautiful fashion. Drinks bigger than it is, but that’s okay because it drinks well.
