clear bright gold with a tight knot fizzy head decent lacing, nose is more on the cut grass, spicey herbal side. Light bodied for the abv and taste, not sweet at all. Very sessionable - in terms of comparisons (sorry my lack of eloquence leads me to this literary device too often) the Smuttynose IPA comes to mind.

?From a twelve ounce bottle purchased at "Kellar’s IGA" in Cincinnati, Ohio - This one poured an amber brew with a fizzy white head of foam and a distinctively hoppy, citrus smell. Tastewise, it was all hops with an underlay of fruity malt, with a distinctive bitter finish... a very good beer.

Good stuff. Bright orange topped by a dense off-white head. The aroma is something to savor: grapoefruit, flowers, and some malt floating around in the back. Flavor-wise it drinks like a very strong APA the hops manage to not totally overwhelm everything else. A bit of soapiness finsihes things off. It never goes to the extreme resinous teeth coating syrupiness that some other super hop beers do. Nice tingly palate. Far and away one of Clipper City’s best offerings.

This has become my new everyday drinking beer of choice. It is really really good. Try some.

Pours a nice clean orangy body with a seafoam-like off-white head. Very nice hop aroma with essence of oranges and pineapple. The flavor closly matched the nose with some grapefruit in the finish. I also taste Belgian yeast in the finish. Very likely to become my session beer du jour. Great stuff!

One year old bottle cellared. Pours coppery with a very nice lasting white head that provides excellent lacing throughout the drinking. Smells yogurty and not as hoppy (to be expected from an older bottle). Tastes blend very well with nice citrussy bites and amarillo hops really shining through. A great balanced IPA with an excellent hops profile even at one+ years old. The malt backbone of caramel, toffee and some banana elements compliment the hops well. I need to find a fresh bottle to compare.

Big fresh hop flavor. Light body. Just a bit on the sweet side. Big but balanced hop flavor (pine, herb, flower). Finishes clean, little bitterness but a very nice light hop presence.

There was a heavy hop/resin aroma, The head was cream, off-white and mostly diminished. Body was clear and amber. Moderate bitter taste initially and throughout. Decent carbonation. A really good DIPA. Good drinkability.

12 oz. bottle obtained by trade with Goldtwins. Honey brown in color with a reasonable white head that faded shortly. Aroma is lots of sweet, citrus and grassy hops with a hint of malt hanging around in the back. Flavor is a nice blend of hops; honeyish with a lot of floral and grapefruit and a decent backbone of malt to balance it. A nice dry, fruity finish rounds it out. Medium bodied with nice carbonation, a very hoppy brew that doesn’t come off as overpoweringly bitter. An excellent beer. Now if I could only get more...
