Commercial Description:
The beer is a dry Imperial Stout - creamy and rich with color as black as night. It has aromas of roasted coffee and dark chocolate, hints of molasses, toffee and caramel in the taste. Clipper City will produce only a small batch, so availability is extremely limited. IBU'S: 30 Malts: Crisp English Pale, Crisp Crystal, Chocolate and Roasted Barley Hops: Styrian Goldings, Fuggles Magnum and Amarillo

(USA) Pours a very dark brown almost black color with a dissipating tan head. Aroma is of chocolate, molasses, and roasted malt. The taste is coffee, and caramel with a very lite mouthfeel. Overall, not bad, But a bit weak of a imperial stout.

Great stout out of Maryland. Thick, heavy body and excellent notes of caramel, espresso, and chocolate.

this beer pours a dark chocolate brown colour with a mocoa coco aroma and prevalent chocolate flavor. The lacing that is left is an attractive tree like ring around the glass. nice beer overall, mighty tastey, thanks to my friend Emilee!

Bottle thanks to dmac. Poured a deep brown color with a thin beige head that faded to a ring. Aroma of light chocolate, molasses, and light vanilla. Sweet malts with some chocolate lead into a light fruitiness, giving way to a moderately bitter finish. A bit over-carbonated, which may have taken away from some possible subtleties.

Sweet, roasted aroma, with a flavor that follows. Rather metallic flavor. Not my favorite.

Pours a creamy dark brown. Some light lacing. Aroma of faint roasted malt and some light booze. Taste is roasted as well. Mouth is pretty light for the style, with some mild carbonation. Somewhat creamy as well. Finish is mild. Not a great stout, but nothing really detracting either.

a lighter style of imp stouts...but not really delivering in complex aromas or in tastes....I really was not impressed at all....seemed weak not very much malt concentration in the flavor at all and also just not alot of flavor at all......such a cool name though...thanks brewbakerE!

Smells hoppy and sweet, slighlty creamy. Taste is nice deep roasted malt with some chocolate. A little light in flavor for an imperial but very nice all the same.
