I didn’t remember that until I tried to remember where it came from. Thanks Shawn, and I owe you one. Pours an opaque brown color with a small tan head. Notes of coffee, dark chocolate, dark roasted malt, burnt toast, caramel, molasses, and cola. Medium bodied, with a chewy mouthfeel. Sweet and roasty, probably overly so. Too smoky, which overwhelms some of the other notes. Not a bad beer but seems a bit clumsily made. Finhead (92), Illinois, USA
