| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Apr 17, 2008 Bottle. Pours dark brown with a think frothy light brown head that disappears quickly. Aroma was minimal with hints of chocolate, toasted malt, and coffee. Flavor was rather boring for and imperial some of the coffee was there but none of the usual rich notes of chocolate and malt. Not bad but not one that I would rush to try again. Brewbie (226), New York, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 14, 2008 Almost opaque almost black beer with a small brown head. Nose of dark malts, caramel, without much intensity. Taste of chocolate, caramel, and sour milk, with almost no hops. Just does not have the intensity of flavor I expect from an imperial. A lot of alcohol for very little taste excitement. chronictonic (403), Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Apr 10, 2008 bottle - mild, slight milky aroma. light body, medium roastiness. slightly sweet flavor, but finishes metallic. i would probably score this a teensy weensy bit higher if it wasn’t labeled as an imperial stout. sinkr (219), Lusby, Maryland, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 16/20 | Apr 9, 2008 Bottle->snifter: Pours a average, light brown head that exhibits spare lacing atop of a black body. Aroma is coffee and toasted cereal; hops are of herbs; yeast of cheese, and perhaps some banana in there as well. The body is light, texture thin, and flat on the carbo. The flavor’s durations is moderate and has a sour milk finish.
Not a bad beer, but not very compelling, especially for an Imperial. tbag5557 (14), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 8, 2008 Bottle. Deep rich color, with a quickly dissapating head. Caramel, and chocolate are the most prominent flavors. Drinkable, but I expect a little more from an Imperial. blipp (1684), Newark, New Jersey, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Apr 7, 2008 Bottle. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is floral hops and caramel malt with a hint of milk chocolate. Very thin body for a stout. Flavor has burnt and caramel malt, light coffee, and a bitter hop finish. It’s not that bad, but I expected a lot more. Collint (458), Sylva, North Carolina, USA
