| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 1, 2007 Pretty mild as far as imperial stouts go, but still good. a nice black body with a tan head. Mostly coccoa on the aroma and flavor was very sweet with it. It was very one dimentional but good for a dessert beer. mabel (2612), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Black brown body with a big foamy light brown head. Medium roast malt flavour, nicely blended. Medium body with a nice feel. I like how it carries itself (i.e. not heavily, but not limping either -- perhaps at a fair clip). SmellGood (318), Memphis, Tennessee, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 22, 2007 This beer pours a dark chestnut brown with a rather thin light brown head. The beer doesn’t have an especially strong smell, but has hints of roasty caramel. It has a bit of a sweet coffee flavor, but is not as strong as most imperial stouts that I have tried. It also feels thinner in my mouth than many imperial stouts. Overall, it just doesn’t feel like it has as much body behind it as many beers in this category. If you’re looking for an imperial stout that wont overpower other flavors this might be a good choice. BeerMeDude (28), USA
